  1. Were you just pacing Oliver through 600??
  2. I love the Kennedy's but this year I'm going to try out the JSCs. They are supposed to be more agressive because they are a 400 spike.
  3. I doubt he will run 1:50. IMO Bumbi is the only guy in our state that has the potential and he is AMAZING.
  4. I take it that you are trying to display Hudgens. Who does he run for and what was his pr during the season last year. Hopefully he's in AAA
  5. AAA 400- Bryan Webb 800- Michael Billingsley 1600- Rob Sorrell 3200- Alex Herringshaw D2 Bumbi will win the 800, 1600, and 3200 so I'll do my second place picks 800- Vikram S. 1600- Oliver Townsend 3200- Oliver Townsend A-AA 800- Jordan Longstreth Team wise I really don't know but I think BA has a real good shot at dominating D-2.
  6. That is true.. The only way I'd see Bumbi going to UT is if he wanted to focus on the 800 which he won't. UT has the amazing sophomore that goes by the name of Paul Cross and the Vetern Mark Sylvester. I see Bumbi bumping up to the 10,000 when and if he goes pro. I think Bumbi should go to Wisconsin because they are cleary the new up and coming power house in -xc-. They have signed the Footlocker national champions from the past two years and it would be stellar if they were to add a third. Back to the topic of this thread.. John Fisher and Ryan Sexton will be going to Austin Peay.
  7. I'd like to be up in the mix..
  8. Ha.. He kills me.. I'm not a -cc- guy.. I think he will run about 15:40 at state and that should put him about 6th.. And no one is as good as Bumbi.. #1 in the nation.. He ran 14:36 all alone... The kid is a pure ###### stud!!!
  9. Ha.. Kid from Mcminn... How old are you again??
  10. Tray Hurst is the best runner to go through our school... It may seem my opinion is full of speculation but if you were around the guy as much as I was you would know.. 2001/2002- Ran 16:15 at the State Championships, Went to state in the 800 and ran 1:57 2002/2003- Led his team to a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP with a time of 15:39, helped his TEAM get another STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in the 4x800 which sacrificed his chances of going sub 4:20 in the 1600.. It is fact that if giving the oppurtunity to run the 800 fresh, the school record would also be his (1:55ish). Also, this kid was THIRD in CC but never had the chance to run the 3200. We will never know what kid of time he could've produced.. My guess is close to Powells record. He also possessed mad speed; more than any of the sprinters we have had in the past 4 years and I seen him jump about 19 in the long jump just messing around.. Powell doesn't compare to Tray because Tray's overall range of talent was alot better. BUT his reign won't last past this year...
  11. It's not to hard to have a good team when you get all the best area runners. cough Siegel cough.. Chirs Berry is pretty darn good.. That Welsh kid and the "Stars" have their hands full!
  12. Stokes, Stokes, He's Our Man, If He Can't Do It No One Can!!!!!!!!!!! YAY STOKES!!!!
  13. 20x200 with decreasing rest.. We've done that workout once and I just felt blazing fast..
  14. You may have a point but the discussion of this thread concerns our region not the state championship..
  15. Laura Koob was the 2002 XC State Champion..
  16. Who are you? My money is on Jordan Longsreth.
  17. We will definatley be in the mix... I don't think Science Hill or Siegal will beat us..
