I agree with stayNskool. There are 1800 students in SDHS and they should have a competitive program. There is definitely a problem with the coach.

I'll take the girls that went to the "fake" Club K any day. They always seem to finish ahead of the "real" Club K girls.

When the soddy player made that statement she did not even know they would be playing Maryville. She was just happy they made it to the state. I am sure alot of player say things like that just becasue they want to win the state. She is not saying Maryville is not good she just wants to win. When you make it this far every team is good even she knows that.

PureFP........Obviously you were not at the game. Lindsey Brown was hit by the foul ball in the 2nd inn. Up to that point CC had one harmless single in the 2nd and a HBP in the first. Everybody else struck out. Where's the "heat" that was put on Soddy????? The Lady Jets ended up with 2 harmless singles and only one runner got so far as second base in the whole game. Frizzell wasn't as sharp as usual and she still mowed CC down ending up with 8 K's. On the other hand Soddy had Stiles on 3rd with one out in the first and couldn't get her in. If she had scored it would have been over right then. Looks like the "heat" was on CC. FOUR of the five runs were earned.
