  1. The Blackman - Lawrence County game was @ Columbia Central during their Thanksgiving tourney. It was more of a home game for Lawrenceburg than Blackman.
  2. Yep, been hurt all summer, car wreck, shoulder.
  3. Blaze, each player had to shoot 20 freethrows in the Aux gym after the game. The score was 54-36, it would probably have been around a 30pt win if we could have bought a freethrow.
  4. Blackman beat Lawrence County 39-38. Great game on both sides! Good defensive battle.
  5. From what I understand the coaches discussed this before the game. Blackman & Clarkrange should meet up in the Christmas tourney. Blackman is trying work in several new players & Clarkrange probably wanted to get their bench some work in. It wasn't a big deal.
  6. Blackman over Cookeville. Siegel over Jackson Co. Franklin over Lawrence Co.
  7. The schedule has already been posted in the other Blackman Playday thread. I think they just wanted to know of any changes.
  8. I'm not sure if it changed. I heard Ensworth was pulling out due to a player injury. The player is already back @ practice so I'm not sure.
  9. Clarkrange & Ensworth will be there. I'm not sure who else.
  10. Hope it's nothing serious with Lakeisha. I love the way she plays, goes hard every possession.
  11. Per Bluestar - LaQuinta Jefferson LaVergne - 6' guard/forward University of Kentucky.
  12. I was told UT Martin was using 9 scholarships for the 2010 class. From what I was told the current roster knows that they may not be offered a scholarship next year if they are not productive with the new coaching staff.
  13. Shelby Campbell 5'7 point guard Samford, Marie Carpenter 5'8 guard Eastern Kentucky, Alex Martin 5'8 guard Cambellsville (sp) University, Tanesha Stenson 5'7 guard TN State University.
  14. Justice will play point as she did last year during their state tournament run. Carpenter is a natural 2 guard who ran the point when necessary. Paige Parker is an excellent player who rarely gets flustered.
  15. I've not seen Tyesha play in a few years, but Olivia just goes hard every play. I would imagine alot of her points & rebounds that game came from offensive rebounds & put backs. She can also get the rebound & push the ball down court for the fast break. So when you have a player like that going against girls who don't play against the level she plays @ during the summer, there is going to be a disadvantage. Olivia, Justice, Aryanna, & Abby along with the rest of their AAU team were a tough group this summer. They played against Delano Deshields' daughter, Antonio Davis's daughter & Ken Griffey Jr's daughter in the AAU 13u national championship game & held their own. Deshields & Davis are top 10 in their class & Deshields rebounds @ the rim already. Antonio Davis was the coach of the team & wanted Olivia & Aryanna. The girls also played up as a team several tournaments @ 15u & won alot games. They also played against some of the top 2010 players in the country playing up with the other team. When you see them on the court in their high school games you'll see that experience. It will make the transition to high school ball pretty easy. Justice already has played in a state championship game. She played alot & played well. It wouldnt surprise me if she starts this year @ point guard as Carpenter is a natural 2 guard. The future of girls basketball in the state of TN looks very bright.
  16. She is the real deal. She also was on the USA 16u team that won gold in Mexico this summer.
  17. You also have to add Olivia Jones from Riverdale. Olivia, Aryanna Gilbert, & Justice all played up with the Flight Navy team. Olivia & Aryanna in particular got A LOT of playing time since all of the Navy team's post players were hurt this spring & summer.
  18. Is Franklin County still going to have their big play day? if so when is it & what teams are participating?
  19. NAIA you can sign your junior year. Division I, you can't sign till November of your senior year.
  20. Cheerleader, this is pretty ridiculous. Threats, promises, I could care less. I've never had a problem with you. I've cheered for your daughter & you've cheered for mine, EVEN when they were playing AGAINST each other. If where we live in relation Blackman is such a concern of yours, your daughter has my daughter's phone number, get it from her & give us a call, we have nothing to hide. This board is to celebrate girls basketball, the pettiness that y'all are exhibiting is pitiful. I don't know the details of what happened last year and I don't care. I know girls from most schools in Rutherford County & I will cheer for them when we play them regardless of what school they go to. If y'all feel need to go at each other, get some gloves get in the boxing ring @ Olympus & duke it out, but keep the board free of it. That was my point in my other post, we were never apart of y'alls fight, let's keep it that way.
  21. Cheerleader, while you're making all the threats of investigation, you could just ask the Riverdale & LaVergne players that hung out @ the house over the summer. I've purposely stayed out of y'alls little drama with each other so let's just keep it that way.
  22. I thought she'd already committed to UT Martin.
  23. Okay my head hurts! I am so confused....
  24. PHargis your memory is getting faulty. You should know this one.
  25. Is Lauren Avant a senior? yep.
