Any predictions of how Clarksville Academy will do this year since it is obviously nobody really knows anything about this team for the upcoming year, myself included?

I have heard of the Leamon kid. Dunno much about Burkhart. What about that QB that got hurt last year? Is he back or did he graduate?

Actually if he only moved residence he would have to move at least 20 miles if not mistaken for him to be eligible that way since he is going from a private to a public.

Just wondering if anybody has any news on Clarksvile Academy heading into their 3rd season under Sheppard? Players to watch? Newcomers, ect.

Should have started recruiting last year! Now it will take a couple of years for the Region to catch up.

I did not start this thread to bash Cameron. I started this threadto prove a point to young high school kids that read this stuff. The point was this... DO NOT LISTEN TO AAU COACHES!!!!! You will look back one day and said geez I wished I had played baseball and football all through high school instead of just basketball (or any other sport). Just goes to show you that "most" not all AAU coaches are looking out for what would be best for themselves and not the player (athlete).

Don't be surprised if you see Clarksville Academy in the play-offs in 2007. I have talked to several people from that region and CA has ALOT of players compared to the first two years since they started football back up. Two years ago they about 24 players, last year about 26 players and word is they will have about 45-50 for 2007. Coach Shepperd and his staff have been working these kids extra hard in the weight room over the last 3 months from what I have been told by several people. I'm sure the top spots will be between Jo Byrns and Cascade.

Was just wondering if Sharp had decided on what college he will attend and/or what schools might be heavily looking at him? Anybody know anything? I know he quit football a couple of years ago to concentrate on basketball and work towards getting some bigtime offers from the D1 level.

Does anybody know who has applied for this job? Any early leading candidates?

As much as you and I have gone back and forth about many topics on here HTV, I think you might agree with me that even I wouldn't and/or haven't stooped that low. Although you and I both know that I have not always agreed on many many things here I would never stoop as low as to say they were a dysfunctional family. HTV, any word on that "other" coaching vacancy? Is my buddy Matt changing alot on offense do to the graduations on the line? When does spring practice start for PHS?

When is the new realignment of the classes? I have been told by several that Maryville will be moved to 5A. This is great news for Central, Halls, West and Powell. However, I have also been told that Fulton will be moving up to 4A and that doesn't bode well for any teams in region 3-4A. I predict Halls will go 8-2 next year with only losses to Maryville and West.

That is somewhat what I am looking for. What I was really looking for is the top 10 rushers of all-time for Halls with the years they played and coach, the top 10 receivers with years they played and coach, and then the top 10 passers with the years they played and the coach. But anyways the point I was trying to make is that I would be willing to bet that most of the players listed in each category came from the Sheppard era. Right? Ok here is a question for some of you Red Devil followers..... You say we should stick by our players, coaches and team no matter what, but yet I used to hear all sorts of scuttle-butt about getting rid of Sheppard especially from some very very close to the program. And the sad thing is, it has already started this year also. I guess it is kinda like UT fans...last year after a couple of games I heard students and fans chanting as I was leaving the game...." BRING BACK JOHNNY". I guess you don't really cherish something until they are gone. Funny how when someone's son doesn't get the playing time he thinks he deserves or because someone is starting somebody else's son and they don't like that person what extreme measures a human being will take even if it is putting their own kid right in the middle of it. Now that is pathetic! You fans had better start backing up KJ, the staff and the players 100 % or you might find yourselves in another coaching search in the next few years. KJ, I know you will see and read this so don't let those $OB fence hugging coaches bring you down and you know EXACTLY who I am talking about.

Just a curious question here.... How many times has Dayton fumbled the ball this year? And also how many dropped passes does he have that should have been a catch? Not beating him down or saying anything negative, just trying to get some more of his stats and see just how everything lines up. Thanks!

Well if you assumed I was an ex-coach you would be wrong. I have never coached at Halls nor did I go to school at Halls. However I do know Coach Shephard and if I can remember (getting old so I don't remember so well these days) I will tell Coach what you said the next time I talk to him.

I stated at the beginning of the thread that Halls would win 24-21. With that being said.... If the Powell team that shows up was the same one that played South Doyle or if the Halls team that shows up was the same one that played West then this could be one UGLY game. But if the Powell team shows up like when they played Farragut and the Halls team shows up like they played Gibbs then this could be a FANTASTIC game.

That would be accurate and also inaccurate zcar. Sango is right outside of Clarksville in that respect you are correct. As far as me not living in Knoxville I can assure you that I do. I attended the Halls/Central game and also the Halls/Karns game this year. Believe me...I would not have driven to Knoxville from Sango to see those two games. Now go look at my profile again and tell me where I am.
