Yes, congratulations to the seniors on a great four year run. You have made some amazing accomplishments! Cloudland football is not over, it is just on hiatus until next August. We have lots to look forward to next year with Jonah, Possum, Toby, BJ, Jordan, Cody and a long list of others. And we might even be lucky enough to see a few of Highlanders play some college ball. So keep your heads up, we're all still proud! Roll Tribe Roll! It's all up to you now to represent the East! Best of luck to you!

Well this has been a tough night but I'd just like to say chin up guys, we still love you and are VERY proud of all of your accomplishments. Congratulations to CAK, they played a tough game and pulled it out in the end. Best of luck to you next week.

Thanks guys I am flattered but any credit given should go to the girls. They work hard and I am thankful to Tim for recognizing them. He does a lot for the kids in this area and I don't think his choice to do the story had a thing in the world to do with me. Although, I am appreciative of the kind words. We have a fine bunch of kids at Cloudland all the way around and it is a privilege to work with them. All I can say is let's just get behind them and make this the best season ever. To borrow a line from the one and only Voice of the Highlanders, let me just say that I for one have no desire to start hanging Christmas lights in November. Go Landers! We'll cheer for you til the very end.

Okay, I see I'd better clear the Dirty Santa comment up right away. Dirty Santa is the exchange of gag gifts and you get to take them away from each other so whatever you were thinking.......... Back to the subect at hand. It would be cool if CoachT wanted to sport the Santa Suit. Don't know who ebbdawson is but heck the more the merrier. Right? Bring all your friends! So it looks like plans are in the works for the first annual CoachT Christmas Party! Where is TDog? I can't believe he is missing out on this one.

Sorry but there will not be a community pep rally this week. We are planning some later on if we make through the first round. The earlier ones this year did not have a very good turn out and since both basketball teams have scrimmages Thursday, we decided to wait. I'll keep you posted. And yes ie3, you are right, it would take a heck of a lot more than 10 bucks worth of paint for most of them. ebbdawson as far as your comment, I thought I was public enemy #1 so I guess you know something I don't.

Why sure! There is a Hardees just up the road so we can make a drive thru run. And you know what, if we don't beat the rest of this bunch there I will be eating at Hardees too because there won't be any burritos left after they get done! ie3-December sounds good to me. Maybe we can have us a nice little game of CoachT Dirty Santa. I am sure Maynardette will want in on that.

Me and Krich discussed this at the JJ Kelly game. We definitely got to make a plan, it's just hard to find the time right now. But hey, we don't want the big man to go hungry so I guess we are going to have to make the time!

Just wanted to say best of luck to DB in the playoffs. I was at the DB/Science Hill game and the atmosphere there was awesome. I was a little disappointed because the game was not a little closer but happy that the Indians came away with a win.

So what's the plan for this week? It's gonna be hard for you guys to top those Harleys in the end zone. Perhaps you could take your shirts off and paint your bellys. That might get some attention. Make some noise!

No word yet for Thursday. Don't know if the basketball coaches will allow us to be on the floor and I don't know what their schedule is. I'll get back to you.

Just wanted to say that I think that the Star gives very good coverage of Cloudland Football and all of the other teams in the county. I'm proud of Wes for all that he has accomplished with his writing.

Yes, at times we may not always agree with some of the articles but how boring would it be if we did? Here's what everyone should do next time they get upset and threaten to boycott the Double Play- close your eyes and just think about how thrilled those little pee wee boys and girls are to have their pictures in the same paper as some of their high school heroes. They would never have the opportunity to get this kind of exposure if it was not for all of the hardwork that the staff puts into that paper.

I noticed that also and was very disappointed. Did you notice that they predicted a score for our game after the fact? Maybe they'll print something tomorrow. There was a very short summary in the Kingsport Times in the Prep Round-Up.

Cloudland had senior night last night and they defeated JJ Kelly, VA 52-15. One of the finest group of kids that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing walked out on that field at half-time last night. It's going to hurt to lose this bunch but I know that they will all go far in life. Thanks for all the memories!
