Tiebreakers for District 15A are as follows: #1 Head to Head (If SH wins Friday they are split so go to #2) #2 Compared to District higher seeds beginning with highest possible seed (They would be tied for 1st as long as they don't lose to anyone else later so go to #3) #3 Head to Head point spread (SH has to win by 7 or more to be higher seed) #4 Coin toss

Stephen Gant- Decatur Co Riverside-Pitcher Anybody who watched the Single A state tournament last year knows about this kid. I am new to the area so I don't have stats.

Wrong Hunter Hays. I am talking about Hunter Hays from Riverside. Graduated in 06 or 07 I think.

Hunter Hays has 1,006. If he had been on better teams he probably would have had more. Didn't have much help most nights. Not sure exactly where he ranks though. There is a 1,000 point club plaque in the trophy case. I'll take a peak tomorrow and report back. Riverside played Middleton and got beat by 10 pts I think. Wanna say it was 56-46 can't rememeber exactly. Made Middleton play a real slow pace game. Held the ball for long periods of time and cut it to 5 or 6 late in the forth.

Middleton shouldn't lose a game the rest of the way. Regular season and district tournament that is. I don't know anything about district 16 but I wouldn't think that they would have anybody that can beat them. Scotts Hill can beat them if they shoot it well and Middleton don't. Middleton made 11 3ptrs the night they beat them by 35 and Scotts Hill actually made it a game in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. I see our Region champ being Middleton and Scotts Hill being runner up. Madison is going to be a tough out I think in the region as well.

Decatur County Riversdie @ Big Sandy (Thursday 7th) and @ Clifton (Friday 8th) both postponed. No word on make up dates yet.

Jackson Christian is D2 now. From West Tenn Greenfield, Huntingdon, and Riverside will be the top 3. Mckenzie is usually strong so they could slip in there as well.

District 13A has won 1 game in the region tournament in the last 4 years with the lone win coming from Big Sandy squeaking by (wasn't it by 1 point) at home against Trenton last year. That makes 13A 1-16 (with Big Sandy losing in the region semis last year) in the 4 years since the realignment. West Carroll is good no doubt but I agree with GFF, you can beat 14A's #4 seed in the first round but then you will probably play Humboldt or Union City in the semis and then start baseball practice the next day.

He has been at Greenfield since the 2000-2001 school year. He was the boys assistant before getting the head girls job. He was head coach of both boys and girls for a couple years. Greenfield is the only school he has coached at with a one year hiatus two years ago when he took a job running a local bank in Greenfield. One of the better coaches in the area, has two state tournament appearances as a head coach (one with boys and one with girls).

I enjoyed playing in Lake County's gym. It is old, but I don't think that hurts it any. The wooden bleachers took away from it but that is obviously not a factor any more. The vistor (boys) lockerroom was plenty big and so was the lobby. My only complaint about it is that they switched sides for the home and visitor stands almost every year when I was there. One year we would be on the side the teams are on and then the next year it was switched and then back again the next year. What side are they on now? Has the balcony been opened up? It never was when I was there. But all in all no worse of a facility than home sweet home Greenfield!

Pretty sure that Clarksburg and Bradford were Region 7s sub state participants in 08, and in 07 it was Gleason and Lake County, 06 Greenfield and Lake County. 05 was the last time Peabody was in the sub state. Got to have your facts straight when you are going to make a bold prediction or it kinda hurts your credibility.

As long as Campbell has that pipeline coming from Kenya bringing the 6'3 girls to UU he won't be needing the pepto. The guards who can shoot the lights out just won't come as easy as they did when Tansil-Gentry was there. Congrats to Aubrey, Kevin, and UTM girls program. Another top notch recruit who is going to put em on the map.

Good to hear that Kevin is getting UTM a lot of local girls. You don't have to go to Timbuktu to get girls that can play. They are right here in our backyard. I am sure Campbell at Union will agree. Now who is going to be left for him though! Could be some good recruiting wars going on here soon.

Westview is having one on Nov 7th and I think that Wayne County is having one but not 100% sure if they are or the date.

Rebelsfan6, I'm aware that Mckenzie won the state title in baseball a few years ago. Wonderful, thats a huge accomplishment so sincere congrats on that. Greenfield has yet to win one or go to state for that matter, but that has a great possibility to change. They have a great group of young kids coming up and only lose 2 players from last years Sub State team so the never making a trip to state could very well change soon. But I also know where shoulds and coulds can lead. To my knowledge, Greenfield has never made it passed the 2nd round of the football playoffs but I am one of the handful of realistic people that don't consider Greenfield to be a football town so that doesn't bother me. Butchie, (cue the 90's classic hit "Ironic") You accusing someone of lacking class?!?! Your sole purpose on every thread that has Greenfield in it is to come in and run your mouth. It isn't just Bruceton threads that you look at. If it says Greenfield in it, you better believe that you will have something to say. And your post is sure to be filled "class."
