I agree with the previous posts. I guess the Trojans are going to travel down to Blount County and once again "tug on Superman's cape!"

Just a couple of facts: 1. According to weather.com The predicted high in Maryville for Friday is 64 with a low of 40 (I don't consider that really, really cold). 2. The turf field will SAVE Hamblen County money in the long run. An estimated $200,000 has been spent on that field in the last 3-4 years just so it could be a mud pit. I am sorry you have such disdain for Morristown West. I guess if we had won 94 out of our last 96 games (or whatever it is) that would have been good enough for us. All you guys have to do is keep winning and De La Salle's streak will be yours. God Bless.

I will say this and then I am out of town on business for the week (back Friday though thank Goodness!). I am a big Morristown West fan and I wish the Trojans Good luck this week. This will be a great game with great atomsphere. I hope the kids on both sides enjoy the experience. While I obviously hope the Trojans win, if the Canes do prevail I will wish their fans and players Congratulations and good luck. I hope everyone on both sides will represent Morristown with the class we all expect.

As I said this week on the Morristown East-Sullivan South thread. East is the best team we (Mo. West) played this year by far. It should be a classic. I hope everyone can keep it civil.

I guess the poor little 'ol Trojans will just have to show up and do their best. They obviously don't want it as bad as the Vikings. They will just have to try and do their best.

That's funny. As I said on another thread Morristown East has waaaay too much speed for Johnson County. They will win by at least 14 probably more, and this is from a Morristown West fan.

As I said earlier speed, speed, and more speed. That is the advantage East has over Johnson County. I am a fan of Morristown West and I can admit that East is easily the best team we have played, and they are on a roll now. I don't see the Longhorns stopping them. Heck their QB (Ramsey) is probably faster than anybody on Johnson County's team, and then you have Dockery, Mosier and the rest of those guys.

The answer is for people to grow up. However, I don't see that happenning anytime soon.

Thank you Ed. I am glad to see someone on here from either side that is open minded. I wish that this petty bickering could stop, but I guess some things will never change. Morristown is too divided. As for the Tribune, I am sure they are doing the best that they can and someone will always feel slighted. Good luck to both teams.

I don't care when they play the game. Of course there is a chance of getting hurt everytime you play, I just believe there is A MUCH BIGGER RISK of someone getting hurt on that field. Anwyay good luck to both teams.

You obviously don't realize how bad this field is right now. Maybe the Trailblazers should just come on down. I am sure they will be happy to play for the chance at a home play-off game on that cesspool of a field. I just hope and pray nobobdy gets hurt.

It was a close game, but if I am not mistaken East was trailing 31-24 and received a fumble of their own to set up the attempted tying touchdown (unless the Canes would have gone for 2). How about everyone just concentrate on who they are playing this week and if they play again, then we can all discuss that.
