Both Barger and Henderson went to Giles. Hopefully LC will return to their solid defensive days. I have a sneaky suspicion that LC will be better than most think. We still have playmakers on both side of the ball. Coach seems to have it the ground running so to speak. All in all in might not be as bad as first thought. Players are coming out not quitting. That's a big plus.

Lake Co.still has talent. It will depend on the new coaching staff to mold the talent. If the players buy in then LC could have a decent team. decent I mean playoff team. The low numbers everyone is talking about it is kind of skewed. After the freshmen report LC will be around 30 to 32 kids about the same number as always.

LC does have a new coach named Josh Puckett. We have one new assistant so far. It looks as though the new coach is going to run the spread on offense. The spread was run here in 08 through 10 with mixed results. Not sure of what kind of defense the coach is going to run. Looks like a bunch of kids have been moved from positions they have played in the past. Hopefully, the new coach will figure it out and play people were they are suited to play. I'M going to give him a chance, he may be what LC needs. Maybe he will listen to coach Ross and figure out what positions these kids need to be in. It's a tough job coming in behind a popular coach. Maybe he is the man who can succeed at doing that.

It's all a big mess. Going to be hard to find a new coach this late in the game. Unless they already have one in place. That would be like the Humboldt situation.

Was not run off so much by the new super. They seen the writing on the wall with the new admin.

Flowers and Johnson were the qb's. Coleman not playing football this year. Caldwell is a beast.

The junior high coach at West Carroll is a good coach. I am sure he teaches the fundamentals of the game. Some kids grasp things quicker than others.

He is a load. I think both teams got a lot of good work in the scrimmage. How is the kid that got banged up on the goal line?

Wardawg, What was your assessment on the spring? Thought the young falcons played hard in the scrimmage. Looks like they could possibly be a pretty good team if they work hard over the summer. Knowing coach B that will happen.

Cannot wait until the scrimmage Thursday to see how the young guys do. They seem to be getting better every practice from what I can tell. LC does have some talented players but they are young. Hopefully, the falcons will get better over the rest of the spring and summer.

How many titles has the Richland coach won? How many state tournaments has he been too? Lake Co has a state title and has been in the state 3 straight years. Humboldt has been to state many times. Seems to me both coaches are doing something right.

Nobody really cares how you feel about it. Richland lost get over it. Richland had a good team but did not get the job done. The best two teams in class A tournament played today.

Kid was not 22. He is 16 or 17.

Not that weak of a schedule. West Carroll and Trenton will both be good. Union City, Mckenzie will be inproved. Humboldt will be loaded. Halls is a team on the rise. A good schedule for a young football team.

With 7 district games that leaves 3 games. I would imagine that Lake Co will play Fulton Co, Ky and possibly Murray, Ky. I would like to see LC play West Carroll, Mckenzie, Wayne Co., Perry Co or Jo.Byrns. Jo.Byrns has played Humboldt and Halls from the west the last 4 years.
