Nothing wrong with your statement, but Union City will have a hard time being a one seed in the west. Union City has tough stretch of games down the line,. The one seed will be between Union City, Lake County and West Carroll.

That was my intent. Game is to close to call.. Peabody has a nice pass game, Union City will pound the rock at you all night, uc does not throw the ball often, so we do know how they will go, Line play will be key for both teams. Turnovers will play a big part in the game, I really look for a high scoring game,.A healthy Hype will make a huge difference. UC do no let that #22 loose, he ithe fastest kid that I have seen this year. LC needs Union City to win this week and loose to the falcons the following week for a three way tie.

UC will have the advantage in the offensive and defensive line. Trenton in my opinion has more overall team speed. Both defenses are very suspect. If UC can throw the ball, they will have a great deal of success against the tide secondary. Trenton will be able to throw the ball on UC. Running games are even. Without Hyde Trenton will win the game. If Hyde plays and his healthy Union City by a touchdown. Of course, turnovers will be huge for both teams. I don't think there is a nickels difference in Trenton, Lake County and Union City. Humboldt is the team that I don't have a feel for. Sorry guys for not being able to pick an outright winner. In my humble opinion this game is really tough to call. Swo, I hope they play 20 overtimes in this one. That way maybe them UC boys will be worn down when they come to Tiptonville the following week. Union City is a good football team with a great tradition. UC will be fine without Hyde if that's the case. This game will be a war. I personally think UC will win at least 6-7 games. With a healthy Hyde they may win 8.

If the kid has a concussion the doctors will not usually clear that kid for two weeks. Hopefully , it was not concussion. Hate to see any kid injured.

Atlas, that's not true. I know for a fact that the current sophomores and 8th graders beat UC in pee wee. You and I both know that pee wee or middle school does not matter. If it does are current seniors beat UC middle 52 to 20 in middle school and we all know that score is not likely to happen this year. Again, all I was saying is that we should have a really good team in two years. I am sure UC will too. Anything can happen between now and then. I am done talking about it. We will see in a couple of years.

LC has a 3 sophomores that will be really good and the freshman class is loaded. You apparently do not know much about LC. Did not say they would win a title just said that they could contend for one.

I hope you are right. Two years from now Lake County will be in a position to contend for a state title. Next year the falcons will be young but talented. Will win some games and make the playoff's. Question why does Huntingdon play only Lake Co in the jamboree?

Kermit LC has played a very solid Murray, Ky team. I agree this game could be a barnburner. No doubt Peabody has improved but we have just as many athletes as they do. Line play on both sides of the ball and the kicking game will decide the outcome. Peabody has a clear advantage in the kicking game, LC gets the Flowers boy back this week and this will help big time on both sides of the ball.

Swo, you could be right. I just know the LC-UC rivalry and most of the time you can throw out records and everything else. Union City may very well pound on my falcons and if they do, I will sing their praises. Lot of football to be played before that game. I am concerned with Peabody this week. UC better be worried about the tide also down the road. I don't know what to think about Humboldt yet. They are sure quite this year. Same goes for So.Fulton. LC has been ravaged by injury and it could happen to any team I truly hope not. Good luck to Union City the rest of the year.

I respect your prediction. I am not saying it will not happen by any stretch. I think Huntingdon has a real shot at making the state title game this year barring serious injury. In my opinion, Union City lacks the defense to get there. Teams can score on them at a good clip. I know they played well in the first 3 games defensively but they really were not tested at all. Union City has a fine team and may very well prove me wrong. If they do, I will eat my crow and move on. Some Union City posters will take offense to what I have said. It's just my opinion. The UC '09 team was really good and to me it was no doubt they would at least get to the title game. I have a gut feeling Huntingdon will come from the west this year. Don't be so sure of a rematch with Huntingdon. Alot of football to played before then. Not saying rematch will not take place but anything can happen. As for the game. Greenfield will play hard but Union City will win the game by as much as they want.

I have watched Union City, Trenton and LC play this season. At this point in the season Peabody looks to have the best team among the three but it's a long season and anything can happen.

Trenton may win the game then again maybe not. This game will be a war. LC will give the tide a battle. I hope the Peabody team is as over confident as some of the fans are. Peabody returns about the same players that they had last year as does LC. The game last year came down to very last second and I think this one will be the same. To my buddy Big Swo, Union City's defense isn't no steel curtain by no means. Line play will determine the fate of the falcons.

Trenton may very well win this game but I don't think it will be by 3 or 4 TD'S. Lake County is better than everyone thinks. LC has plenty of athletes and speed to stay in this game. Line play will determine the fate of the falcons this week. Trenton has played a difficult schedule thus far and the falcons have not outside of Murray. So, we will see if the falcons are ready for a battled tested team. I am really looking forward to this game. The last 4 times these two teams played have been really tight games. Each team has won on the others homefield in the last 4 meetings.

The game was moved to Thursday night due to impending weather. I believe Issac is a hurricane not a tornado.
