Totally agree with what you wrote, just making a slight correction Primm was Defensive MVP, VanHorne was THE MVP, and if someone else got MVP then VanHorne would have had the Defensive.

this may jus be a rumor, but i heard that the press was pushing for vanhorne and wanted him to get it but then the fact that lamar has already committed to vandy came up and thats wut got him the trophy. to bad

I know it says that the Mr. Football descion is based on regular season statistics only, but does someone who makes it further in the playoffs have a better chance than someone who got eliminated in the first or second round?

I pick CHS. I dont think Franklin will be able to stop the run at all. Franklins offensive may be explosive but they wont be able to use that to thier advantage if they dont have to ball. I think the cougars will be able to put enough pressure on franklins qb to make him make some errors and throw ints and bad passes.CHS will keep the tempo of the game slow and edge out a win.

Philip Bates is the best 2 way player. CHS's offense would not be near as good with out him out there. same for thier D. He's the key player for both sides of the ball.

Van Horne has done a pretty good job on offense this yr for bwood. His running in the second half of blackman is part of the reason they came back and won. Even though he is still doing good on offense it hasnt effected his defensive play at all. It looked as though he had an off game against Blackman, but the first 2 games he did great. All players have thier ups and downs. Im sure he'll come out ready to play against CHS, and be a big player on both sides of the ball. But the Bruins D is still good even if Van Horne isnt 100%. They have great players, other than Van Horne, that make big plays on D. The Defense will do fine against CHS it's the O that needs to get consistent. If that happens they will be a tough team to beat. Im going to say bhs 21 chs 14
