Lets see ... a right handed hitter taking a lefty to opposite field... sounds like a good piece of hitting. He will lead the team in average at the end of the season. I have watched him play for many years and he only gets better as the year goes on. By the way, I have seen him hit the long ball against some of the best pitchers, righty or lefty.

He is concentrating on getting ready for the United States Marine Corps. He will report to bootcamp in June.

How can this be good for the sport ? The best wrestlers in the state should not be penalized because they wrestle in the toughest regions. Something must be done.

This morning's Tennessean has the Region 5 and Region 6 results in the box scores. However, they have the Region 5 Championship matches listed under Consolations and the Consolations are listed under Championships. PATHETIC !!!!!! They have had 3 days and still can not get it right.

ZERO coverage again this morning in the Tennessean and Williamson AM !!!! Especially bad for the Williamson AM since 23 of the 28 Region 5 finalists were from Williamson Co. 11 of the 14 champions were from Williamson Co. Bobvark, who was the reporter that you said was at the finals?
