for oakland to have a chance of winning you have to get to sonny.. i mean riverdale didnt get to sonny early and it was a ballgame.. when they started blitzing sonny and sacking him then we did good.. dont get me wrong he is no Wolke, pressure will not shake him up.. you gotta tackle him and make sure you rap up.. cause if you try to arm tackle he will break them.. he will pick you apart if you give him the time.. they didnt really try to run any against us cause i guess they figured they couldnt.. and for goodness sakes watch for josh croutch (#17) on the slant across the middle.. i swear he cought that pass about 10 times on us last friday.. make sure that you have good cover guys and can stop the run.. for some reason i think we'll (riverdale) see smyrna again in the playoffs.. a good solid team led by my boy adam smotherman

yeah i forgot about the scott lick.. everyone was hitting last night.. as for smo.. one play comes to mind.. when they faked it to gaston and smo hit gaston so hard.. i was like dang.. good thing it was a play action.. haha.. but they respect eachother and are gonna become friends next year.. i hope tamar goes there too.. if so that would be 3 rutherford co players all at 1 D1 SEC school

my game ball goes to SHAYNE ROLLINS.. my boy stepped it up tonight big time.. 2 interceptions and 1 touchdown.. he made the pick, scored the TD, and made the extra point all on the same drive.. he was open a couple other times but scott threw the ball to the short guy for a sure completion.. great game guys.. and think about it football isnt even shayne's best sport.. sonny did good like i expected.. he is the real deal.. after rollins picked off that pass to wilkes i dont beleive they went back to him the WHOLE game.. i know smo had a great game which is common for him.. he is a great guy and an awesome player.. both Kit and Gaston laid some HARD HITS.. they looked painful..

i dont think rankin will call off the dogs tonight.. when everyone came to school today they got a pleasant suprise that smyrna students left them last night.. they wrote "SHS Bulldogs" in puple paint i believe on our (riverdale's) track.. so i believe rankin will run it up... because i for one knows that ranking dont like it when people mess with his stuff..shouldnt smyrna know they dont wanna waken a sleeping giant??

the kids name is Ryan Smith and he plays receiver.. never seen him play or anything so i dont know if he is good or not

i know who antwone is i go to school with him.. he is a GREAT athlete dont get me wrong i just dont believe he can guard rod.. just an opinion.. if he does i will be the first on here to congratulate him.. but the thing is we wont really know cause i think sonny will be on his back or on the run most of the time 82 cat, i agree smo is a great person and a great teammate.. he has an awesome sense of humor as well.. i wish him the best of luck

i think the only way smyrna has a chance is if they get wilkes the ball and sonny has time to throw.. i believe crouch is overrrated and the warriors will shut him down.. the only two people that scare me are sonny and wilkes.. i smo might get to scott a couple times because he is that determined.. i have played with him and he will not let anyone hold him down the whole night.. if sonny gets time to throw i believe that it will be a close game because i dont think anyone from riverdale can guard wilks 1 on 1.. i believe riverdale will blitz and get to sonny and wont let him throw.. if you look at the past smyrna's line is usually bigger but riverdale always shuts down the offense.. i believe it will be close for about a half and then riverdale will poor it on

i think reguardless of the numbers i believe wilkes is better than youree.. but youree is truly great nonetheless..

well i gotta go with sonny.. no im not from smyrna i support riverdale.. yes, i use to think scott was the best seeing as he has the stature and pure arm strength.. but i believe Sonny is head and shoulders above scott.. i saw sonny play against brentwood and he really impressed me.. he has tremendous poise and great at scrambling.. i can totally see him going D1.. and i believe if Scott gets his kinks out he can also become a D1 Qb.. i believe they were both better than Wolke was when he was in high school and look where he is now.. 2nd string at ND.. just an opinion from a football person

its okay 2p.. wilkes is still a better receiver in my eyes.. but your boy youree is still good

like i have said before i beleive sonny is the best qb in the region by far.. ive only seen him once and that was the brentwood game and you could tell he was the real deal.. i mean when he is in their smyrna clicks, when he is not they dont do anything.. just a thought.. i heard it was a great game though

great game tonight.. both teams played well but hey great defenses come up with big plays when they need to.. well hope to see you guys in the playoffs.. i was impressed with scott and not impressed with wc's pass defense.. they need to work on that if they hope to beat la vergne

yes i also heard that they mentioned about moving the game to MTSU but coach A didnt want to.. and i see his point.. i mean why should he have to travel when its supposed to be their home game.. i think it will be a great atmosphere there.. and i ask the same question as thesportsreports... if we win can we rip the goal posts down?? haha.. well see everyone tomorrow and have a safe trip there also

they're bringing in all the bleachers from all the other sports fields.. so the bands will sit on them and maybe some fans.. i know i will get there early.. i think the article on the front page about ripping down the goal post is totally funny.. it would be funny to see but i dont think it will happen cause my warriors are ready to play.. as for the warriors being down.. i mean they remind me USC.. they had some close games last year but everyone knows they were head and shoulders above the rest.. i mean everyone thought that USC OU was gonna be a good game but we all know what happened to that.. not saying that will happen tomorrow just a thought to ponder

well i believe my team (riverdale) needs to establish the run with not only gaston but tamar as well.. for defense they need to stop the run and play aggressive.. we usually get one turnover a game.. those are the keys for the warriors

come on riverdaleman.. you know for sure that chad cheap shotted dude.. yes he was on the sideline with his helmet off.. so when dude came right for him (trying to slow down) he checked dude to the ground.. i mean dang he could have moved out the way.. i mean if it wasnt cheap then why did the DC dude look like he ran into a brick wall?? i mean i support riverdale but i also call it like i see it and pretty sure that was a total cheap shot.. i was actually suprised he didnt get up and get in chad's face but i guess he thought it would be stupid seeing he was in the middle of all the warrior players..

well i went to the game and the situation was this.. the DC player was running out of bounds and chad who was on the sideline checked him and made him fall down.. i am a riverdale supporter but that was a cheap shot by chad no matter what anyone says.. why he did it i dont know but it was a cheap shot

you guys need to realize two things 1) la vergne is for real this year.. arod is a great qb and knows how to run things.. they're a great team and played a great game 2) riverdale played the worst game ever against a good la vergne team.. i mean they had like 20 penalties for like 250 yards in those two games.. so you can not judge them from those two games.. look for them to be for real this week and i see them winning by atleast 14.. my opinion so dont jump on me but i know ill be there cheering on the warriors and wishing them the best.. i hope it is a clean game and no injuries.. good luck to both teams
