White Co. beat a weak Brainerd team by a smaller margin than did Walker Valley. I believe that is what people see. If JJ Taylor and Dell Lewis are both back, this could be an interesting match up. If not, Red Bank is rollin.

Yeah, the few troops that travel with us are quality though. It's hard for a small group like that to make a lot of noise though. It's often up to the sidelines to give support to the team. Once again, great game Cleveland.

Yeah, Cleveland definately earned the win. They shut down Hixsons running game. Suprisingly Hixson kept trying to run. It wasn't until late in the game when we switched to a spread offense that we experienced any success. By then it was too late.

Can't wait for tomorrow, the excitement is building. Good luck to both teams.

Coaches dipping is hardly an important issue. Let's focus on things that matter. Like safety to players. How about madating trainers for all teams? That's a novel idea.

This is a big game. Cleveland has always had it's way with Hixson, with the exception of 1998 when Cleveland fumbled with seconds to go and Hixson recovered the fumble and scored. Could this possibly be the first time Hixson ever legitametly beats Cleveland?

That involves getting through Rhea, White Co., and the team that shares the perfect region record with them, Hixson.

Red Bank is good, no doubt. I think they are overrated though. They should have two losses. Soddy missing two XPs is a what if, but take it for what its worth. They beat a fairly weak Cleveland team 27-7, but beating Cleveland means a lot in a region where Cleveland has dominated the past few years. The Lions are putting themselves in position to control their destiny. I'll be interested to see how they play against Rhea Co. and White Co. (If Dell Lewis and JJ Taylor play).

What does that establish? They beat Hixson by 7 points. Soddy Daisy beat Hixson by 16 points. Wouldn't that mean that Soddy is better than Notre Dame?

Notre Dame is a good team, but are they as good as everyone wishes to believe? Nope. They play in a weak region. I will admit that they are good, but not top 5 in Chattanooga good.

The two emerging teams have to be Red Bank and Hixson at this point in the scedule. Red Bank has beat the bottom three teams in the region so far, and face a tough schedule. With one of the strongest defenses in the Chattanooga Area, it appears as if their defense is in line for a championship. Hixson has beaten 0-3 Central, but has also beaten Rhea Co. and White Co. thusfar, two teams that appeared to be region contenders earlier. The race is still wide open, and often playoff positions are decided on the 10th game of the season, when tie breakers come into effect. This has been one of the more competitive regions in the state the past few years, and it's shaping up to be another competitive year. What do ya'll think?

The Hixson/Red Bank games from the past two years. One was 5 OTs, the other was a game winning field goal banked off the uprights.

The Wing-T is a pretty good formation for undersized schools with speed though.
