From what I saw the bold statement is just not true. I am sorry the young man was injured but the "crowd" was running towards the end zone and the mascot was headed towards the 50 yard line. THE STANDS ARE MADE FOR SPECTATORS! The field is for the players who play this game I love so much. Bottom line is like one of the SP faithful said if you knew how to act in this situation things would not happen.

He wants to see how much of a cakewalk it is to come in out of the east I think he should just have to play some of the better teams there that some of the better "cupcakes" play ever year. I can tell ya Powerp I almost picked bye to beat Sunbright just because of that idiot! I really don't think Sunbright will be around for the Semi's though regardless of who is there.

Come east! If you got a few spots on your schedule see if you can get Gordonsville, Trousdale County, and South Pitt on them. I guarantee you ain't gonna like what comes of it! Seems like you just think it's easy to get in the Championship from the East. Anyway you got Jo Byrns and Lake County on your side of the bracket. It will be extremely tough for your Cats to stay on the field with either one! Then if you do make it to Cookeville you can bet your butt there is gonna be a BEAST no matter who it is waiting on you!

Why don't you guys call up some of the cupcakes in the East and take a little road trip next year? I am sure a lot of the teams would not mind in having the Wildcats as opponents?

First off, I would like to say, rlh, the majority of your posts are courteous and pleasant to read even for opposing teams. I do believe the Comerade Soccer Fan in the SP Mercyruled post needs to stick to soccer and leave this board for grownups. Secondly, why anybody gets bent at TrainTracks comments needs to read all his posts! The guy loves to see if he can rattle somebody's cage! If he or SlimShady from RC doesn't win the trash talking award it's fixed! Now for business! Do you guys really think the Pirates are gonna roll up the Jolly Roger and anchor the ship? No way! Maybe they are not in the category of the teams of the past, although powerp seems to have some inside info that they might very well be superior to every in TN Class A, but I guarantee you if there is any pride then the Pirates will right the ship and make a run. Now, hopefully there is a team that I am fond of that will be there with them. I honestly believe many are beginning to doubt the Pirates and this could and probably will be a very BAD mistake! Maybe you should keep to baseball, powerP. If anything Lebanon should have been called "West Gordonsville" because the coaching staff you mention were Gordonsville boys long before they went to coach the Blue Devils. Now if you don't mind you say you have family in the Lebanon area? Are they "Sweater Vests"? It's alright if they are. That would explain perfectly why you have spent almost every post explaining to the CoachT universe how much more superior South Pitt is than Gordonsville. Maybe they really are or maybe it's just someone who values their opinion so much they see the world through Orange and Black colored glasses. If the quads stay the same looks like we'll find out in the Quarterfinals.Either way Good luck to the Pirates!!

WOW! I must say this should be a wake up call to ALL coaches, players, and fans of any team across the state. Once upon a time I admit myself and teammates were involved in one such incident and the same arguments made here were made then. I agree as a player you PROTECT your teammates! They are your family! Fans entering the field of play is something else. Now I understand Mommas wanting to protect their babies but I bet it just wasn't Mommas. I am glad noone got hurt because of the altercation. I hope that one game is all that the fine athletes from South Pitt face but according to the TSSAA ByLaws they could be facing more. You all have a fine football team again at South Pitt! This is not meant as belittling or berating just as an outsider who is a TN High School Fan! 1. Gordonsville Tigers, 2. Trousdale County Yellow Jackets, 3. South Pitt Pirates! I guarantee when these three aren't playing each other I am a rabid fan for them all! For anybody interested the TSSAA ByLaws reads as follows: Section 8. Substitutes Leaving Bench Area in an Incident or Fans Coming Onto the Field or Floor A. The school will be required to submit a report and video tape if available. All schools are instructed to inform individuals taping to continue taping all incidents. B. For substitutes leaving the bench area in an incident or fans coming onto the field or floor, the school will be fined a minimum of $250.00. In addition, other non-monetary disciplinary action will occur. Good luck guys and get your heads right cause West TN thinks they are gonna walk the Gold Ball home with them!
