The good thing is Coffee County will be at HOME for the game...I feel confident that they will be prepared for the biggest crowd of the year-unlike tullahoma where you can't even go to the parking lot right behind the stands for fear someone will be lurking behind a car to jump you! I remember it well! I hope the officials will let the kids play and not let a stupid call cost someone the game. Enough of that-it could go on and on! The coaches will have a game plan ready and the Raiders will execute it and WIN the game! The Coffee Pot will be given to the Raiders at midfield with hundreds cheering. What a thrill! Stay focused Red Raiders and enjoy the moment!

This game has all the makings of a battle. Could easily decide who ends up winning the region. Being home will help the Raiders. The Red Raiders had 3 backs with 100+ plus yards last week. I think they'll be able to grind it out! Offensive Line played well. Missing players returning will also help. Defense will be ready as they've played against the WingT everyday for the last 5 years. Good luck Raiders - get this big WIN!

Congrats Red Raiders...it was a nail biter. We were able to listen to the game. Gotta tell you, there were some times when we were "running" with you guys! The main thing to remember is you won after the ups and downs of going and coming back and going again, having a lead, and two overtimes...no matter what - it is a WIN! Great way to start the season. Coffee County is coming off a very good pre-season. They've practiced hard and had a couple of impressive scrimmages. They will be ready to start the season on Friday. Good luck Red Raiders!

Coffee County played well yesterday against Wilson Central. Did WC "overlook" Coffee? I don't know but WC coaches were not happy with their team...you could hear them "talking" to the them as you were leaving the stadium. The Red Raiders played hard on both offense and defense. A big interception and run for Coffee County was just one highlight of the scrimmage.

Overall it was a good first scrimmage for Coffee County. Good effort and several big plays. As usual the fans were there-even in the steady rain! Keep up the hard work Red Raiders!

Coffee County Lady Raiders ended up with 14 hits and a BIG win over Shelbyville to go 11-0 in 8AAA! Congratulations!

Spencer (from what I've been told) deserves a shot at a "big time" school. He would not be the first one that doesn't get his chance. That doesn't mean he can't go somewhere where they REALLY want him and have success. Having been through this process, the best advice is ENJOY NOW and as you say, good things will come and will work out for the best.
