Oh there is no doubt that the kids will not play hard. One of the things I admired when I watched Tellico play this year was how hard they kept playing regardless of the score. They have a lot of heart.
I say Bradley will come hungry after the Walker Valley game. I know Bradley has a well balanced attack but I think Kellen Pickel will put on a three point clinic. He is an outstanding outside shooter and after all the talk about how he was not a factor in the Walker Valley game makes him that more dangerous. I say Bradley by 20.
I heard the two players that got suspended 5 games from Tellico was two of their five starters? I am not going to post the names but if that is true I think it will have a major effect on Tellico in the district standings. I think at least 4 out of their next 5 games are district games and it could hurt them when tournament time comes around.
Charles Little has had some nasty throw downs this year for Cleveland. The Joe Shivers dunk must have been awesome. I read the newspaper article on it and I couldn't believe this guy was only 6 foot. But the best one I have saw in person was the Tyler Smith dunk on Bradley. Kid got up.
You are right blackandgold. If Cleveland wants to win the game they will have to do what they did that got them a 26-4 lead. I can almost assure you Coach Green will be going haywire being a district game and all. Cleveland will have to avoid foul trouble like they did against Central too. If Charles Little has another one of his 32 point performances and Jay Davis shoots the 3 like he did in the first quarter against Central then they should win. Should be a good game though.
You was right AusDan and you have my apology. I still remember the game but I thought it was closer than that. It was like tennfitz said a misunderstanding. Actually it was a misplacement as I had the Knox Catholic and Cookeville game mixed up. Once again I apoligize for my mistake.
Rogers for Cleveland had a big game as well. It was big win for the Lady Raiders and congrats to Coach Moore and her team with their victory. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw both of these teams in Murfreesboro come March. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season.
Man Cleveland should be in some pretty hot water right now. First the football scuffle, then Jay Davis eligibility, and now this. Things are not looking to bright for Cleveland.
Well if you all play like you did against Brentwood Academy then you guys should win this one pretty easy. Even though you all lost to BA I was still impressed. BA is a very good team. But good luck next week.
Kingston came ready to play against LA. They won by like 20. Harriman, I thought, played pretty good against Meigs. And why did Kurtis not play against LA?
It depends on how Central is playing. They didn't shoot it very good in the Christmas Tournament. Rogers will need to have a big game if Cleveland wants to win. If Central is hitting that night then their is not much the Raiders can do. Should be a good one though.
