  1. There is a difference in being "contacted" by DI schools and being offered by them. When he has offers, then Ill believe you.
  2. Sikes is not good enough to play DI basketball. maybe football, but he's just bigger and more athletic than the competition he plays in A. If he played AAA, he would just be an average player and nobody would know his name. he scores over half of his points in transition, and he wont be able to do this in college. Maybe football, but not DI basketball.
  3. ha ha, sry man I just agreed with everything you said and Im sick of these people who dont know what they're talking about. Maybe i thought if they heard it twice it would knock some sense into them
  4. what he said. However, Jamont is the best player in the state right now. Wright has the potential to go straight to the NBA out of high school based on his potential. The NBA draft is all about potential. Nowadays, the top 5 in their class all have the potential to go pro out of high school. And if you think Willie Kemp will go pro out of high school, you dont know what you're talking about because there hasnt been a single point guard to go to the NBA out of high school. Jamont is head and shoulders above everybody else right now, and yes I have seen all of the top players across the state. this argument is pointless.
  5. Ok, Matt Walsh is overrated. Brewer will probably play signifigant minutes next year. Wow, I didn't realize that Miss. State was a powerhouse. i guess you learn something new everyday. I feel sorry for Brewer because his team will always underachieve under Donavan. Corey is an excellent high jumper in track and I believe he won state or placed high, so he should be in the dunk contest. Good luck to Corey, he is an excellent player.
  6. Reginald has been ranked in the top 20 on www.basketballphenoms.com for the last year, with Richard coming in the top 40.
  7. too bad he probably wont learn anything from billy the kid but to jack up 3s and play relaxed defense. what a shame.
  8. what he said. Im not trying to take anything away from Chris Johnson, Jeffry Hill, or any of the other players because they are all very good and instrumental for Glencliff to win. I think NorthSide probably has a better team and Im not saying that Glencliff will win, but Jamont is better than either one of the Delks and he will show that Thursday night.
  9. Rockwood looks big in the pictures on Coacht. They look like a football team. How tall is the big white post player? Sikes is almost 6'4''.
  10. Jamont is going to show out on the Delk twins. they arent on his level.
  11. he hyperextended his fingers on his right hand. It doesnt seem to really bother him
  12. wait wait wait... Im still confused as to how Summertown would win without getting the lead?? ??? I dont get it
  13. Gordon is far from selfish, but he sure does excite the crowd. Gordon passes up many shots to make excellent passes and can dominate a game without even scoring. The stats from the Tennessean sound wrong because Im positive Jamont had more than three blocks and more than 4 assists. If you think Glencliff is a one-man circus, you're in for a long night. well... you're in for a long night already.
  14. BIG 4 8... how come u aint comin with us to Andy Wicke @ Jamont Gordon??
  15. Im still confused as to how Summertown would win without getting the lead??
  16. I just think Summertown might be able to shoot out of the zone. I wouldn't worry too much about S'town's post, because FRA has the size to match up with him. Last year Summertown shot 80 percent from the field (no exageration, they were 16 of 20) in the first half of the sub-state game against NCS, with about half of their shots being 3s. FRA can dictate the pace of a game, and I think they will again against Summertown. However, Coach Trotter is one heck of a coach.
  17. The size and style differences give advantages and disadvantage to both teams. FRA has some big guards who can play. Summertown basically plays with 4 guards and their one post who is about 6'4'' and pretty solid. He almost looks like #11 from FRA but about 6'4'' and probably still stronger. FRA could have problems guarding Summertown's quick guards and Summertown could have problems with FRA's size. It will be interesting to see if either team will try to adjust to the other team's style. Im pretty sure FRA will have to run man vs. S'town. If anybody from Summertown's district can verify any of this or add any info it would help.
  18. ha ha ha, Big48Eagle's comments about Anderson Fieldhouse were out of line, but you guys are ridiculous. Everybody from McEwen gets on here and acts like they want to fix everything between NCS and McEwen, but then everybody not from NCS cheered against them in the district and region tournaments. #33 Bubba cussed out some guy from NCS because he smiled at him. ha ha, what a joke. I understand their frustration but why do they have to take it out on NCS? Do the McEwen players get on Coacht all the time or something? Bubba where are you?? NCS had a better season than McEwen and they proved that they were the better team, there is no use arguing.
  19. I think that guy is trying to throw you off... They like to shoot the three ball and have one decent post. They are quick and like to run the floor... play a lot of man defense. Their coach played for Coach Anderson of NCS and his team plays a lot like the NCS teams of the last two years. Ashton White can shoot the 3 as well as Cody Braden i believe. FRA is a solid team and they will need to slow the pace down and use their size to their advantage.
  20. Jarrett had the shot to tie the game before he made the game winning pass. congrats on your career at ncs jarrett and good luck in your future... no matter what all these people say I will always love you man.
