Good luck to Shattuck and the players in Clinton. I hope they have a good off season with the team striving to have good chemistry when it is kickoff time again. A few questions. 1. Is Stone playing basketball or any other off season sports? 2. What is the offensive line looking like, from what i can remember they only lose one started? 3. Is the offensive scheme going to be the same with the spread look, cause it looked really good at the games i saw 4. What can the team do to keep the momentum going. I saw them at the jamboree and they had fire and passion the same at the Oak Ridge game, but they seemed sluggish in the Maryville game? good luck guys TC

its hard to swallow that these actions are taking away from an amazing game. as an OR graduate i must say that im impressed with the showing from clinton. i would really like to see this rivalry grow through stiffer competition. i know that most people would like to see a blow out but i think most others would like to see a hard fought contest between 2 programs. clinton good luck from here on out and oak ridge the same to you. on another note now that OR is in their region games how does the rest of the year look? Here is what it comes down too. Both teams are inexperienced on the lines. Both teams are steeped in tradition. Both teams have something to prove. however after reading so many comments i have one question? Does oak ridge not remember that Fulton has the gold ball? thats what they need to realize. A state champ is a state champ. i dont care what division it is in. when friday rolls around i want the players to think of this each team is lining up across form a great team on each sideline. forget playing those middle tennessee teams this is what footballl is about. 2 teams from the same area duking it out for bragging rights. no region titles on the line just pride. so who ever wins will deserve it. good luck to everyone and i cant wait to see the throwback jerserys. Man i was just sticking up for a friend, Sir David. This has nothing to do with Coach Gray. So back off dude. Now back to topic i can see where Stanton coaching track can put him around some of the players more often. but i also remember that the track members could not play in spring practice when ever that may be. so will Stanton be there for spring practice or will he be at track practice. with that in mind who over sees the weight lifting after school? i think that the head coach should also be there. The word is that Ron Gray has sent a letter to every high school in the state declining every job in Tennessee just in case they come open and they decide to offer him. Gray is also a good choice. he connects well with the players, school, parents, and boosters. he will bring excitement to the program as well as a high powered team to the field everyday. Good luck Karns with your search. TC

i say that we fight this issue. there is no other mascot that replace the Indians at Kingsport. when the team lines up across the goal line ahd walks towards the other team doing the chop is awesome, and that is from a former player standing across the filed staring at them....

well coach minor is such a better choice because his offense did so well with out # 1 carrying the ball every other play.........

besides the clips david uses on the show. they broadcast the games completely on the same channel on saturday mornings. i know that this can give away some materials but most teams have enough class and respect to trade films. i know that alot of people continue to support the program, but a lot of loyal faces are now losing the loyalty to this program even while the team was winning. and i cannot remember the last time i saw a crowd at the 'ship stand and cheer for only a first down, like against D-B. now lets quit the little bickering and talk what is really going on with this team. i heard Vaughn is going to play running back but i think he is a big loss at linebacker and he could afford to play some other players at running back. any ideas

can you believe it??? only 8 short months away and it starts again. the time of year were boys become men and men become legends. now there is a lot of talk about how bad the team has become and there is some truth to it and some has been overplayed. oak ridge is an exceptionable school, thats all there is too it. with that comes the price. the price is that people will talk and be against the coaches. i personally disagree with the way stevens does somethings but thats his way of coaching. the fans of oak ridge are used to being under a strict routine coach like coach lussier. but there is a new era in OR football and i dont care who is coaching as long as The mighty wildcats are winning. so to those who are upset i understand, to those who have hope i understand. so maybe stevens is the future of OR, maybe hes not i dont know. but i do know that this community will not take losing very long. so for his coaching tenor at OR he better win. i dont care who the coach is any more. i just want this program to thrive. a 5-5 season at OR is unbelievable. i know that there is talent in OR but he needs to develop some younger guys at key positions. i know that this team will be strong at linebacker with Vaughn and Kirkpatrick both coming back. so Roll Cats Roll..
