Blackman will still fight until the end! Even though we are without Barnes, Randall, and a few other guys, Coach Turnham will have his troops fired up. Sometimes it's what you learn that makes you better.

I look foward to seeing 8-AAA play 7-AAA. I really think Siegel is the only school that has any chance. The 7-AAA district is really down this year.

I don't think so. I think Shelbyville is a much better team than Siegel. The only team that might be Shelbyville will be Oakland. Siegel is too inconsistent to be a GREAT team. They are good, but not great as the siegel Nation likes to pride themselves with.

I've seen alot of the district 8-AAA and 7-AAA teams, except for Columbia Central. Without seeing Columbia, I say Shelbyville is a very good team. Siegel, White County, and maybe Riverdale are the only threats in 7-AAA. I think it will be Shelbyville vs White County and Siegel vs Columbia Central in the regionals.

Lincoln County is an up and down team. I think the loss of assistant Coach Jean really hurt the Lady Falcons. I don't see LC making it to the regionals. Unless they peak in the district, which is very unlikely... I would give the Lady Falcons the most disappointing team of the year award.

Thanks, we work really hard at our broadcasts. Sometimes we make some mistakes, but we quickly learn from them and move on. Coach Turnham and Coach Hibdon have been really supportive of our program and we are hoping to continue our program for years to come. Thanks to all of the fans who listen. We will be broadcasting the 7-AAA championship this year, regardless of which team makes it, which is really awesome. Again, thanks to all of the staff at BHS, Mrs. Vick, Mrs. Duvall, Mr. Strickland, and all of the coaches for helping bring BHS athletics to a greater level. They all do a great job and I appreciate what they have done for me and wneely.

Blackman is certainly capable, but as Coach Turnham stated, his team must focus on playing a full 8 minutes of basketball every quarter. They cant focus on trying to beat Oakland, because they will get that bad mental image in their head. BTW; Blackman is undefeated at home since they revamped the nice looking floor.

Very proud for Blackman and Congrats to Coach Turnham and the team! But wow, I think Chase Randall has really stepped up since Dallas Williams quit. Randall has made Blackman a better team. Not in Rutherford County, but I won't be surprised to see LaVergne or Siegel to jump on board next year. But we are broadcasting the 7-AAA Championships live regardless of who's in the game.

Tough loss for the Blaze. Clearly, Coach Turnham and Coach Hibdon are working with a lot of young talent and will have good teams in the next few years. Ivey (the MTSU recruit) just came off of knee surgery when he played Riverdale and Blackman earlier this year, so he didn't play his best. According to Coach Pinkins, Ivey was recruited to be a bruiser, not a big flashy scoring threat. The Blackman Blaze broadcast crew will be broadcasting video webcasts of the Sigel and Riverdale games in the next few weeks. We are working on the software so we can broadcast those games with live video feeds, won't that be awesome (by the way, you can watch the archives later)? Also, how would District 7-AAA fans feel if the Blackman crew decided to broadcast both District 7-AAA championship games this season? Let us know, so we can make plans to do that or not.

Well Blackman does have a big challenge upon them this Friday against Siegel. I think it will be close for a bout three quarters, and then they will falter, like they have in most of their games. Coach Turnham is a good coach, who can fire up his team, Blackman is capable of upsets, but I see Siegel winning by 15. For all you trash talkers on Blackman's athletic programs, at least Blackman has their own broadcast team for almost every sport (football, basketball, baseball, softball, ice hockey, and soccer). There were a few questionable calls, but the Lady Falcons did out play Shelbyville...otherwise Shelbyville shouldn't have to worry about officials calls to make or break a game, if they would've played Sha'Para inside, it might have made a difference, regardless it's a loss and time for the next game.

What can I say, I am wrong. Lincoln County played like they should've been playing all season long. Players stepped up and took leadership roles and beat a very good Shelbyville team. If the Lady Falcons continue to play like they did tonight, they will do well in the district tourney.

According to the al.com website, J.O. Johnson was ranked 5th in the state when Lincoln County played them, not number 1. Also, Lincoln County is by far the biggest disappointment in the district, if not the state. After watching both teams play, Shelbyville wins by 25.

It will be interesting to see when they have a good test against Shelbyville next week.

Ivey is not very impressive at all. I was very dissappointed, too bad he has signed a scholarship, so we can't release him now.

What's wrong with Lincoln County this year? I haven't seen a game this season, but they seem to be down this year. Very disappointing, since they had high hopes earlier this year.
