Heritage 22 Ooltewah 10.... Ooltewah just isn't the same w/o Foster. Heritage can surprise anybody.(except Maryville) OR 49 - WB 14 Oak Ridge is just too powerful and fast for WB to stop. And yes I agree Maryville rolls any week.

I think Maryville wins this one just b/c they are Maryville but they better keep their eyes open and not get to big-headed or they could blow everything. Maryville wins by 7.

You have a good point. Of course they are blocking good, they are coached by the one and only Chip Watkins. He's an awesome coach.

Well fact remains that I do know the schemes.... I've played and studied that offense. The line gets beat some. I know that they have been blocking really well this year. The backs do miss blocks but really aren't asked to block that much b/c they are either running or going out in the flats for a pass. They have also improved on blocking when they are asked to. I agree Parker does usually just look at Tyler, but on occasion he has thrown to Acuff, Cantrell and I think even Hoover. Parker's a smart guy. He throws to the reciever with the best hands and that receiver can more times than not make a catch in heavy traffic. But anyway in response... yes i do know the scheme.

I think Parker will be level-headed even if he is pressured. He has always been a good QB he just gets frustrated when that "durn" line doesn't block in the words of coach buster brimer. But the line is giving him time to work his magic and that he will do friday night on steve spurrier field. Lawyer is right again.... that quick slant is always a sure thing thanks to the bullet from parker and the glue hands of Doo Doo Brown. Parker can lead his team through anything.

Lawyer says it best! Parker got more comfortable in the throwing game last week against them beavers b/c he had some room to play around w/ the ball. Jefferson County's defense finally stepped up and proved that they could pitch a shutout (fist team d). All running backs for Jefferson County are awesome. You've got Scooter Houston averaging over 9 yds per carry, Jeff Jennings over 9 yards per carry, and Aaron Carson over 9 yds per carry. The running game is unstoppable to say the least especally after coming off back to back over 400 yds rushing games for the pats. Science Hill's #1 defense is gonna have it hands full. Jefferson County still remembers last year, too! Jefferson County wins this one but not by too much. I'm still agreeing w/ WACO on the score. JC 21 SH 9

I don't know about all these scores guys. I agree I think Jefferson County will win but even though Science Hill really hasn't played anyone they still have an awesome defense. So it will be Jeff County's high-powered offense against the #1 defense from Science Hill. It will be a tough game that's for sure. Jefferson County should be able to pound out at least 21 points b/c they have three running backs that are averaging over 8 yards per touch. WACO's right on this one... You are obviously lacking in some category which makes it necessary for you to hurl insults at others. I'm sorry for your problem. The FACT remains that Jefferson County had more student fans.... Ooltewah has informed me why they didn't have as many so the discussion is over. I guess that's where your insults come in. Oh well i guess it's a problem you will have to deal with. There were no insults or bad tempers among this discussion until you come in and add your wonderful OPINION. i'm saying that a game of such importance as the 2nd round of the playoffs should have more fan support from such "good fans" no matter what the weather is

that's a good point stayNskool but when we left jefferson county that day it was already pouring outside... and plus Ooltewah is on here saying they have the best fans... well that would constitute Rain or shine or whatever the post office pledge is. So if the fans were they great then they would have been there.

DB should win this one HUGE but ya never know. DB better not get too much of a big head otherwise they will slip up and get beat. Any team can be beat at any time and any team can win at any time. If South Doyle catches them sleeping then it could be a long night for DB. South Doyle..mark my words... will by no means lay down for them though. This will be a battle.

Not fans altogether.... THE STUDENT SECTION... after all that is what we were talking about. And I know for a FACT that we did have more student fans and we were much louder. I'm sorry if that fact upsets you but I remember looking into your student section and thinking that there wasn't many people there. Oh and StayNskool it is a jersey number.

You know there were more Jefferson County fans at the playoff game last year than you all had and it obviously upset you enough to ignore the truth. Get the game film. We watched on the ride home from that game.. oh the sweet VICTORY!!!

I agree with "mhs". Maryville would not pay someone to come and play football for them. First of all, it doesn't matter who is at QB Coach Quarles still gets his team to win. The reason they are so good is because they have a great coaching staff who get along well with the players. The communicate well. And once you get in a groove you stay in it. If Clausen's brother is coming to Maryville then I really feel sorry for the teams that Maryville plays, but as I stated before... I really do not believe they are paying him to come.

Jefferson County's Scott Meadows... He turned the program completely around in 1 year! He doesn't play the politics either... If you're good, then you play. He really is a great coach to play for.

I think Sevier Co. has a nice stadium but so does South Doyle... I especially like the natural horseshoe at south doyle... and both have a decent number of visiting seats.
