Bradley James-MoWest...hands down thumb He just needs more time on the field to show everyone

I agree whole heartedly.....the fan support sucked last night!! I didn't even see the quarterback's parents there.....I know there was alot of parents which were MIA.....Trust me....u will miss sitting in the pooring down rain in a few years when your kids aren't there to watch!!! I know we have more True Trojan fans than what was there!!! How can we expect the kids not to give up when half the people that was there left leaving probably 75 or less!! GO TROJANS!!!

I'm glad somebody realizes how much hes going to be missed. I am a West High Alumni and I couldn't have been more embarressed Friday night. It didn't used to be who you are but how you played. Anyone who has even said hi to Bradley James knows what an awesome genuine guy he is. You can tell that when he scores!! I guarantee he has one of the largest cheering sections!!!! And for Woods and the others that keep rotating him out and not letting play to his potential and always forcing the plays up the middle when everyone knows his speed is what makes him stand out!! But that's ok...us family and supporters will be laughing for years to come when he's kicking BUTT in college and Woods is still in Morristown picking his favs. And we all know he has his favs....just ask about last year when Darious got in trouble and it was kept very quiet!!!! (Only the players and the parents knows about...but as always it DOES come out what happened!!!) He'll be another Matt Rice and get kicked off the college team when the truth comes out about them.

By the way....has Jeff co recruited any more players??? They didn't have enough to hardly play a game at the East/Jeff Scrimmage. I heard alot of numbers were down including East and Jeff

Yeah....I'm pretty sure that JC4life does not have in is pinky finger the class that Bradley James has. You don't even have a clue. I guess they won't get 70 yards even though Bradley had 112 yrds in the Cocke Co game alone. I'm pretty sure that you don't know him or have any idea how determined he is the year. His dad is coming home for this game before going to Iraq (this will probably be the only game he'll get to see this year) so if you think he's going to roll over and let Jeff Co walk all over you........you have another thing coming!!! You just sit back and watch!!!!!!

Thank you so much for your dedication and not giving up!!! You all have been such an inspiration of how determination can get you farther than you ever thought. You guys are such and awsome bunch of players and have nothing to be ashamed of...you made it farther than any other Trojan team in the history of the school!!!! Thanks to all the seniors!!! You will be missed badly next year!!! E-man.....you are the coolest individual and have the greatest personality and maners.....you are truely a class act!!! We will miss you so much next year. Pee Wee..you should have been Mr. Football......but you'll always be our Mr. Football. All the other defensive players.....WOW!!! you guys are so awesome and there isn't enough space to write all that each of you have accomplished over the past year. Juniors....you have some mighty big shoes to fill but we have faith in you and know you will step up to the plate. With such awesome players as Bradley, Corey, and Jordan....you will have nothing but a class act of players and the drive to get it done!!! While the lose today was hard, you need not be discouraged!!! You guys are the only team to be the defending state champs in 3 years!!! And your team has shown such improvement from the beginning of the year and you guys have made it further than anyone of us could imagine......... Good Luck Next Year!!!!

West may not win...but don't count us out! I think too many people did before Saturday's game. It looked like a Maryville home game instead of West. And look what happened!! Our boys want this one. I'm not saying we definately have b/c I don't know enough about Hillsboro to make an educated guess but don't give up on our boys!!! They've worked really hard and they've got alot of heart!!!! Lets make our kids proud and show up to support them.....it doesn't matter what happens because you've made it farther than any other Mo'town West team and we're proud of you!!!! Hey boys.......what are you doing on Saturday?????? WE'RE GOING TO STATE!!!!!!!

Yeah...the Alabama thing was started when the school was started back in 1968 I think by Jack O Pemberton.....he was an Alabama fan!!! Bet ya couldn't have guessed that by the colors either.....LOL

One other thing...the decision to move the game was the right one in my opinion. While walking on the field to congratulate the team, I about fell several times because of the mud and how slick it was. The field looked awful!!!! Even after post-poning the game. It snowed heavy Friday night in Morristown. And while people will use this as excuses to why this did or didn't happen....we don't have the money to rebuild the stadium in our budget. If we did, West would have their own stadium.

Mo'West players and staff have the utmost respect for Maryville. They were even cheering for you guys against Knox Central. They said they would rather play Maryville because they were such a classy team. Even though they had beat Knox Central in a scrimage earlier this year and stood a better chance to make it to State against them. Everyone knows that Maryville is a powerhouse. But you also got to understand that there were alot of Maryville fans on here overlooking West. I know alot of the players at West and trust me....they have nothing but the utmost respect for Maryville and its program! Don't let a few Mo'West fans cloud your judgement of all of us. And as far as the bands, I don't know about the seating thing but I was surrounded by Maryville fans on the West side yesterday! You guys filled your side with an hour to go before game time. And the fans that were around us showed nothing but class. And no offense but we have some pretty awesome players on our team that want a state ring probably more than some of your players that have 3 rings. Its just like in racing.....everyone is out to get the one that is winning. And unfortunately for Maryville, they have dominated 4A for so long that I guess some other fans were getting tired of seeing it and your going to get slams on the program. But the true Maryville fans and West fans know how good both programs are and how they both should be given their props!!!!

Kudos to the Maryville Red Rebels!!! I am a Mo'town West fan but I will have to say that the Maryville fans that sat on the West side showed class!!! Congrats to West!!! We're going to state baby!!!! I've never seen our boys so excited!!! What an awesome game!! Anymore like that and we'll need something to calm our nerves! GO TROJANS!!!!! We want those rings!!!!!!!

Congrats to Maryville!!! We can't wait to play you guys next week. Even our boys were pulling for you!! Ya'll are such a classy team and we love playing you guys!

Bradley James from Mo'town West! Boy has some major speed and has had several break aways this year. Also Daniel Fillmore the kicker is right on the money.

Karns has the band!!! They have won many awards including best all around band and best drum major.

Im just a simple classless trailor park resident who rides tractors all day. My clothes come from Goody's Im not good enough for this thread (pun) I guess. Far from a West High Cheerleader.......a West High graduate though. But I'll forgive your ignorance.......I just happened to see how the Jeff Co. players and fans handled themselves at this year's football game. My husband went to Jeff Co. and I have alot of friends that went to Jeff Co. but the way they handled themselves this year was unexceptable. And I've heard from other teams that played them who said the same thing about Jeff Co. so I'm just saying that maybe they got what they deserved and maybe if they had've realized there was more than 2 players on the team....they would still be in the playoffs

Maryville/Knox Central

Although, I'm a HUGE Mo'town West fan......Knox Central v. Maryville should be an awesome rematch. Last time they went into 2 overtimes.

That is very true!! The Tribune always puts Jeff Co.'s game above West. And might I say that the Jeff Co team this year shows no tact or respect to their opponents. You may beat teams in the ground but you also have to respect them which Jeff Co. does not. And like one person from Jeff Co. said tonight, "They need to realize that there are more than 2 players on that team." But then again, I guess Scooter learned that our Trojans are better than his.......... (to quote some West High students.) The boys are really going to have to watch the penalities this week. They can't have that many if they make it further in the playoffs. I will admit there were some bad calls by the refs but the guys are going to have to watch it alot closer now that we're in playoffs. GO TROJANS!!!!

I just hope they clarify it with both teams before next Friday night!!!

West announced it would be at Burke-Toney after the game tonight. And the players were told that the game would be a home game for the Trojans!!!

Our understanding is that we(WEST) play at home up until state if we make it that far because if we play Maryville or Central our division is due the home field this year.
