At Hampton I am sure it would be Barry Phillips and I believe most would agree. But there were a lot of other great players such as Leon Tolley, Kevin Ward, Jerry White, and Milburn Ellis.

From Hampton there are many great players but we will have to go back to the glory days of Hampton basketball. Barry Phillips Milb Ellis Kevin Ward Leon Tolley Jerry White Randy Waycatser Benny Smith Cotton Nave Willie Malone Craig Fair Gary Leonard

I believe it is a combination of things. The players that are there do not really care if they win or lose except for maybe 1 or 2. The players that have quit (Moss, Julian, Morton, Harrison, Edney, Crabtree, and Tolley before he came back) all quit because of coaching and I know this for a fact. So coaching is a problem. I also believe that losing these players also is hurting the team because they do not have the depth or the talent level that they had in junior high.

I believe everybody would.

I know why these players quit.Ask any body around Hampton and they know why they quit. COACHING!!! Hazelwood is a good guy but he's is just not made to be a head coach. The coach that all the players and fans wanted was the one that coached these Juniors and Seniors in the 7th and 8th grades to 2 straight conference, district, and regional championchips. This man is Leon Tolley.

Cloudland is definately not overrated and it will be a big surprise to me if CAK can even stay within 40 points of the Highlanders. They may not be playing very good teams in the regular season but they get the job done in the regular season and in the playoffs. If you have not noticed they went to the semis last year and to the championship game the year before that...

I believe Cloudland will cruise through the 1st 3 rounds easily and I dont believe that SP or Boyd can win AT ROAN MTN. So I'll say it will be Cloudland vs CPA in the championship game.

Cloudland will breeze through this game just like they did against Midway the past 2 years in the 1st round. They shouldn't face a real challenge until the 4th semis when they will most likely meet up with either Boyd-Buchanan or SP. I think Mark Byrd is the frontrunner for this award. He is the state's all-time rushing quarterback in a season last year by only playing in 8 out of 10 games, and he is on pace to break his own record this year...
