  1. when red bank played soddy daisy earlier in the season, they were very unimpressive. unless things have changed, they are seemingly "shooter-impaired" meaning the outside shots were few and far between. the only major offense against us (that I can remember) was this huge neandrethal-looking kid who was ok at rebounds and put-backs. granted, they did beat us but i dont think a quality program like ooltewah will have any problem. good luck to both teams.
  2. it's losses like the one to notre dame last night that contributes to our lack of threads. but hey, we can always create ones for no reason.
  3. other than the ol' setter, eldridge is almost worthless. granted, he's got a great shot and comes through the majority of the time when he's open, what else does he do? he's like a phantom basketball player...when he shoots, you notice him, but the rest of the time it's like he's not even on the court.
  4. ive heard that ernie mccarson, the assistant principal, is the A.D. for the time being...i don't know if there's merit to that, but if it is true it will at least prevent Pandora's Box from being opened at soddy daisy.
  5. i dont think it really matters who middle valley has played...they are definitely the superior team. central lives by the outside shot, and saturday...they will die by the outside shot. the #44 guy is really good and can definitely slash through a defense and evan shipp is usually money from three(although he's been pretty off the last couple weeks.) none of this really matters, though, because middle valley will win and in convincing fashion.
  6. obviously we, the daisy crazies, cant control what went on, on the court. we were just outplayed. rebounds killed us and our defense was almost nonexistent in the 2nd half, to say the least.
  7. little charles definitely came to play although he didnt make many(if any) shots outside of around 4 feet. layups and dunks was his style last night. soddy really didnt play that bad, cleveland was just better. they have quite a few athletes on that team and they were pretty young. i was really disappointed in their fan support though. not many people were there at all and the ones that were there said that they were "over" little charles and his dunks and that theyve seen it the past two years or so. how you can get tired of a player like that is beyond me.
  8. the game is at cleveland. since ooltewah kept the game within 10 against cleveland, id say the trojans will have a moral victory if they keep it within 40. we really have no answer for little charles. while i am a big fan of soddy daisy, i know my limits. once again, if little charles has less than 3 dunks i will be very, very disappointed.
  9. he never got a concussion it was a shoulder injury which proves the point...you will never ever know. this is enough for everyone to disregard each post by this guy. once again, we hear from the poster child of originality. i told you to come up with a clever comeback and you failed terribly. thats enough from me, ill retire to my trailer and continue to use my "not-so-good" computer to prove what an idiot you really are.
  10. it will definitely be fun seeing charles little in action. if he has less than 3 dunks ill be disappointed
  11. Neverknow seems like he(or she) has some bad blood towards sd and the bball program. roaming from thread to thread, doing your best to bash soddy daisy in whatever way you can? i was taken aback to see you posting on the GIRLS bball thread, of all things. it really was nothing new..."soddy cant win" "soddy has terrible coaches" blah blah blah are you mad neverknow? you want to vent your anger in a place where no one will know who you are? thats what it seems like but im sure in your mind you're just "voicing an opinion" or trying to do something noble like "show sd fans the light and prove to them that the team that isnt supposed to be good is, in fact, not very good" it seems like a lost cause doesnt it? we're gonna be happy about a win, whether you like it or not. one would hope that this is some big misinterpretation by me and if thats the case, ill accept defeat. if not, then go ahead and crawl back into your little hole and think up some clever comeback. im sure it will be priceless.
  12. barrelboy, get back to us when you learn how to type. thebarrelboys are like the new kid at school, but they arent making very many friends b/c they are trying way too hard to belong. does soddy play central this year? probably, so you can try and prove yourself and lets put a lot of emphasis on TRY. and the same thing goes for when you play ooltewah, good luck
  13. deepthroat?? how original... its about as original as each one of your posts. in fact, you are the poster children for originality, not to mention stupidity. im ashamed to call myself a middle valley baptist fan(prob the biggest one) when you get on here and talk trash about your own school...and dont try to play dumb and say you dont go to soddy b/c im not stupid. it was a quality win for a team that wasnt expected to win many games this year, and i have a feeling more are in the works. the question was asked "where are the bradley county's" and "why arent we playing tough teams?" it was the first freakin game. bring that up later in the season if we are still playing weak teams. anyways, go ahead and get back on here, read this, and take it for what its worth. i hope you'll see where im coming from.
  14. sdfan1234- Way to confuse everyone and accomplish nothing. You write like a girl.
  15. SD can be a very good FB team. Dropped passes, a fumble, and missed tackles were HUGE vs OakRidge. If SD loads up their A game on the Charter Bus Fri. morning, it could go down to the WIRE. SD 21 DB 20
  16. sdfan1234- You are wrong! McMinn has only lost one game, which was to Oak Ridge 35-6. They beat Farragut 19-3. Check the scores somewhere. Since they have only one region loss they have to lose both of their remaining games to fall behind Soddy-Daisy. (Since they beat SD) Why is this so difficult for you to understand? Where did you come up with this neutral field business? 3rd and 4th in the region play at 1st and 2nd in Region 1.
  17. sdfan1234- Soddy-Daisy has lost two games. They also have no chance of hosting a playoff game. Again, maybe a little thought would be nice.
  18. sdfan1234- Rumor has it that an individual with a separated shoulder and a concussion would probably not continue playing. Higdon not only continued to play, but passed for 240 yards. He must be a freak of nature or something. What game were you watching? A little thought before you post would go a long way.
  19. Tell me how many teams that Oak Ridge has beaten have a winning record. Do the same for McMinn County. As you will discover, Oak Ridge has played one team with a winning record--and they lost...sound familiar? McMinn is the only team of the three (Oak Ridge, McMinn, and Soddy-Daisy) to have beaten a team with a winning record. You can't criticize Soddy-Daisy for losing their only game to a team with a winning record when Oak Ridge has done exactly the same thing. So much for logic.
  20. the game won't rest only on stopping pickle. bradley's running game is pretty solid but im confident the owls will dispose of the bears relatively easily
  21. rhea county really shouldnt have a problem w/ red bank...i say rc by a couple touchdowns
