An alum told me that I was thinking abought Darren Black, Dustin s little brother. The QB that I am referring to ws a shorter, stockier kid that also played a tough safety. How athletic ya gotta be to hand off the trap, buck sweep and run a waggle or two ?

BOBBY..... I covered some scrimmages this spring, Halls and DB being one of them. 1. The kid who played QB is AS GOOD AS or better than any Halls QB since Jenkins. 2. Theye were in the wing -t running it between the tackles, not trying to throw it. (dance wif th one what browt cha) in other words, "do what you do best" 3. They had not one but two tough full backs, one kid i did not recognize. 4. They seemed to play sound football. Not a whole unch of mistakes. 5. This ward fella I wouldn't know from a mess of poke salad. Unless he is related to Chip Ward Halls QB circa 86. Also, My sisters kid started camp there this week. She said it looked like there were 150 - 200 kids. Kids going to camp at a school that runs the winged t ? Say what you want about Jason Julian, he has ties in the community.

Medman and anyone else who thinks that lockwood and lucas were contibutors.... I saw four Halls games last year and was NOT impressed by the aforementioned duo. Lock wood ran like he was trying not to get hurt and Lucas never completed a pass. Neither was seen on the defensive side of the ball. I don't get it ! Now Dustin Black, he was a contributor..... Offense, defense special teams.

That would be the clean and jerk that you are sputtering about. (jerk) Power cleans are the best ground based, multiple joint movement for football. The least important would be bench. On the other hand, They DID spot the admirals 21 points (2 turn-overs and one 5 yd punt ). Heck, Farragut couldn't score from the 1" line nor the 1' line (I know there are no lines for these distances). Farragut managed to slap together a drive early in the 4th quater. 1. A.E. Better athletes better coaches....nuff said. 2. Central--> Helton to Scott with many yards from Gaston. Can't get by Bubba. 3. Powell--> with or without Huber and Smith, Central is still better. 4. West--> Best Backfield in K-Town. Big L.B. aint bad either. 5. Karns--> look for a brekout year that will kick off a two to three year winning season streak. You didn't ask but the worst 5. 5. S.D. although will be improved, still 2 -3 years behind. Yes, Swafford screwed them up that much. 4. Farragut, With as much students and talent that they have, they will only win 5 (Coatney will have his neck stretched on the chopping block). 3. And for the worst teaqm in Knoxville for 2004....... Halls, They are in a tough region that requires most of their season, they don't have the athletes to compete, their coaching is out-dated and antiquated, Heads are gonna roll.

I have no team. I found out about this board through a client of mine. It serves my business prospects well to be in the know when it comes to high school sports. Believe what your sheepish mind tells you. All the while I have a nephew going to a school that he doesn't want to go to. He has been separated from his friends. If he had a nice jump shot, curve ball or "spin move" it wouldn't be a problem and everyone knows it!
