He forgot to mention: Hoover Glenoak Perry Lake Timken Alliance Jackson Canton South Minerva Green He also didn't mention Walsh University or Malone College He didn't mention Belden Village, Diebold, Timken Co. He also didn't mention all the scandals that Massillon High School has faced because of recruiting violations and paying players. but that's a subject for another day.

I think Alcoa had one of the greatest strategies ever last year when they played Lipscomb by delaying the game. If they could have just kept postponing it they could have played last years game with this years team, which incidentally is the same as last year's team, but as we have heard is much better than last years team, which also happens to be the same as last years team. So look for Alcoa's team bus to break down this year (wink wink) or for their to be a large snow storm to barricade them into the city and prevent them from playing(wink wink). If this strategy proves to be as successful as last year look for this game to be very competitive (or not).

I think that the outcome of this game will be determined by the score.

Did I say that I liked that thread? All I am saying is that the Lipscomb threads get unprofessional at times, okay most of the time. First off- you say that we should be more serious. This implies that football is serious. Secondly you say that coach Mc wouldn't approve of what is being written. This implies that he doesn't know what is being written. Third, you say that people who read this board from other schools will think less of us. I doubt that people from other schools don't have better things to do than read about lipscomb. Look people- MOST high school "strength" coaches are just some coach who looks like he's been in a weight room befor. He probably don't even know nothing about lifting. So he has to yell a lot and make it seem like he does. Most of em just want the extra pay supplements. not ALL coaches are this way but MOST are. You can act all defensive and not like what I say but its TRUE. As for the guy who said I was the kid who always avoided lifting you are right!!! It CAN dameage your body and I wasn't planning on being some Gorilla for the high school football coach who didn't care about anything but winning state championships. Don't any of you rmember hercschel walker. he never lifted a weight in his life. Everything can be done through diet and push ups and sit ups and pullups and running.

I don't think high schools need strength coaches. All most of the ones I know do is push kids to get on diet supplements and try to gain weight. Most of them just make up some crazy lifting routines that are really hard so the kids think that guy knows what he is doing. All you really need is a chart on the wall and let the guys go do their thing!! Let's spend the school systems money on something more important like a good headphone system for the coaching staff.

This reminds me of that d3 college in Ohio that is about to tie it's own record winning streak of 54. They are at 53 now and can tie it with a win in the playoff game this week. This streak and there streak of 54 wins are separted by 1 loss making them 107-1 in their last 108 games. They have only lost one reg season game in 12 years. They all play by the same recruiting rules yet they seem to dominate. only edge they have is their coaching. Point is that coaching wins games in football more than any other sport.

I have to agree with sabre3 that temple is a great assistant coach at lipscomb. People say that he singlehandedly is responsible for stopping the swing pass against Ezell-harding.
