Liberty will win a few games this year if they can find a way to hold on to the ball. They looked better than i thought they would against Ripley but lost the game in the last quarter and half thanks to 3 turnovers and two of them inside Ripley's 20. I didn't think Ripley looked to bad, they have alot of speed on both sides of the ball.

Madison kids get to play football with JCM but has their own team in other sports. I can see JCM in 3A or 2A for long. You think the Cougars got a beat down from Haywood, you haven't seen anything yet the Hawks will fly high... Its going be a long year for them Cougars, my new team the Crusaders doesn't have to worry about finishing last, there is a kitty cat going take their place...

There is no one scared of Dyersburg, are they suppose to be some top notch program that everyone fears? The only thing i can remember about Dyersburg is they are a first maybe a second round playoff team every other year... Top Notch for sure. Now for Mckenzie who are they? Another top notch program, thats another joke. Didn't they just start winning a few years ago. Beating Liberty and McNairy in a scrimmage i guess they are champs already. Play somebody than we'll see where you stand.

My new team for the next 4 years the Crusaders went to McNairy and won big time. I know its just a scrimmage but it might be the only thing we can brag or cheer about this year.. GO LIBERTY.....

I agree with you Drewcephus it is a sad thing down here. The Madison County school system and the leaders are JOKES here. The kids that wants to transfer will will have to sit out a year and the only schools they can attend is Northside and Southside. Liberty is already over crowded by hundreds, thats the reason for the move up to 4A which it shouldn't ever happen. I wouldn't be surprise if JCM doesn't move down to 3A for long the enrollment is getting smaller and smaller every year and now this. Its very sad here for sure......

I think the QB job is still up in the air. I know there is a sophmore thats going be pretty good don't know if he will get the job this year. Liberty might not win to many games this year or next but they'll get there. There isn't to many teams that moves up a class in just 5 seasons of football and wins. Alot of teams go years in the same class before they start winning period. So beat them now before the table is turned. GO CRUSADERS....

I hope this never takes place. It'll be the same team as always if this happens. His son just started coaching so thats a BIG NO, Sterling not that good same play book as Hayes so thats a BIG NO. I hope they will go out of county to find a real good replacement when its time.

Beating Liberty isn't saying alot. A bottom team in 3A last year that moved up this year with new coaches and very young players. So I wouldn't judge the season on a scrimmage like that...

I stopped by to watch JCM practice today for a few minutes. They have the size and alot of speed. So if the coaches can come through i wouldn't count JCM out

Go Crusaders..... After looking over our schedule we might win 1 maybe 2 games this year at best. I hope i am wrong but its going be tough to move up a class with 2 wins last year. Maybe the new coach will have a few surprises for us to cheer about. I was working near the Rock last week and there has been some work going on with the seating and a few more things. So maybe its coming back to life.

Oh i thought this was basketball my bad. This is going be a long season for us Crusader fans. Maybe i'll can start talking trash like everyone else when they start winning but for now i just want to know what are some of the best places to eat when we travel to away games. GO CRUSADERS............

I guess i will have to change my user name to gocrusaders.... My girl my the cheerleading squad so i guess that means i will be a Liberty supporter for the next few years. I know we probably be the bottom team in the region but there is always hope for an upset. I agree with you Yanker, scrimmages are just that. They don't mean anything there is alot of things that can change before the first game. Its funny how fans want to dog a team when they have a bad year, when their team just started winning again. If this school system get all the kinks worked out we would see a few teams in Jackson go deep in the playoffs each year.

Don't know about the coach but 4A is where Liberty will be... Does anyone know Libertys schedule?

What a bunch of idiots on here.... Yes 6-3A is down this year but what does a good team suppose to do against the down teams... A good team did just what SS did this year, spanked them pretty bad and when they did play somebody they stepped up to the plate and won. Come on down to the Hawks Nest and get your feelings hurt. Cavs still hasn't proved anything to me either. I forgot that the mighty Cavs regon is loaded every year. I guess after all them years as a homecoming team the Cavs are a high profile team that everyone is afraid of. I see the next few years you might be the homecoming team that everyone knows, thats what i have seen in the jv and middle school teams...
