Hey Big Bigby how did I miss you at the game. You must have been on the C'Wood side. I sat with some buddies on the WC side and had a great time. What a game. I missed out on all the "after the game" stuff but I did see the green wreath down in the corner of the endzone when I was leaving and heard the plans for it. The ones that had it then were young kids, I didnt think they'd go thru with it, i guess they did.

I'm making the trip down the trace to see this one. Tell Green Man to leave me some complimentary free tickets at the gate.

I thought the Tigers represented themselves well.

Part of the good protection on pass plays was that Lewis County's linemen didnt come up field to flush Dailey out of the pocket. They only sent linebackers up field the linemen just held their ground.

This will be another tough match-up for the Tigers. Fairview doesnt look as big up front as Lewis County (neither do the Titans), but they are plenty big and appear to be more athletic lineman. The fullback #1 is a load to get on the ground and the QB appears to have a strong arm. More option football for the Tiger defense to try and stop. See you in the JUNGLE.

Great game by both teams. I think MP's effort in the second half was far better than in the first half. I wasnt totally offended at the late TD but it wasnt necessary but I'm of the opinion if you don't like someone scoring on you then do something to stop them. After looking back on it and talking with some folks I don't think the onside kick was intentional at all, the kicker just missed the ball. I hate that some of the after the game "stuff" went on but you're going to have that when two rivals play each other. I have close friends from Lewis County and have always admired their football program. I'm old enough to remember when this rivalry was back and forth with wins on both sides. I think it can get back to that point again. This time it didn't happen. Lewis County has a tough defense and a great back in Grieve. Its a shame you have to run into the privates in the playoffs or I think you could make some noise deep into the playoffs. I get the reputation of being a "homer" when I announce games and thats a reputation I'm proud of. If you look up in the announce booth and see 2 guys with MTP hats and shirts on there's a pretty good chance you will be able to listen to them and tell who they are for. Our station that we broadcast is sponsored by mainly Mt. Pleasant area businesses and at night the signal only reaches the immediate Mt. Pleasant area so I guess you could say that's who we cater to. My son is a freshman on the team and my partner was a top QB on the team a few years back so I don't apologize for being a bit biased or alot biased when I announce the game. I do appreciate anyone that listens and any constructive criticism ( well some ) that is offered. We've never claimed to be good at announcing but I guarantee you there's no one else that does games that enjoys it more than we do.
