  1. First off you're a dunce. There's a Goodwill less than a quarter mile from FHS. And yes, I realize this comment was just your stumbling attempt at a joke by blindly branding everyone from Will Co as rich & elitist. If your Napoleon complex makes you feel better when you lose then so be it. Just try to make it funnier next time. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  2. Just checked, I still got ya. I'd be glad to keep you updated.
  3. You were always the best fan we had out there T. I'll cheer double for ya saturday in the boro.
  4. Good luck to the Burros. Glad we're going to get to watch you play before us Saturday. Hopefully we can bring two gold balls home to the future district 11-AAA next weekend.
  5. I'm thankful we have a game here in Franklin tomorrow, but I sure wish I could see this Henry Co v. Hillsboro game too! It's sure to be a classic and I wish our future district-mates the Burros the best of luck from the Rebs. Hoping we can watch ya'll play before us next Saturday in the Boro!
  6. Any team that makes it to the semis is obviously very talented. I don't think anyone is getting overlooked or taken for granted at this point in the season. Looking forward to the big game friday night (with hopefully a little warmer weather than last friday /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> ).
  7. Ford definitely runs hard, but I wouldn't call him a power back. He's not huge, but he knows how to keep his feet moving and lower his shoulder to get the tough yards. I've seen him make many defenders miss with his moves though. I'd say his best asset has to be his burst. He just hits the whole quick and hard. Once he gets past the first line he usually takes the ball a long way with his speed. Kilo Lee is a little larger back and gets a lot of tough yards, but you couldn't classify him as a "power back" either. He's got great hands out of the backfield and he's elusive in the open field. Spartansfan, What are some of the names and numbers of WS playmakers we fans should look for friday night? I know a previous poster from Millington mentioned the RB with the youtube video.
  8. I'd disagree and say Brentwood deserved the 7 they got because their running game was outstanding, but no more than that. Our D played tremendously well and I was worried for most of the game that blocked PAT would come back to haunt us. AJ Krow played a a great game. I was very impressed with his ball handling skills and the way he managed the triple option. If they had an air game that could have added some play action to their attack, they could have pulled it out. But FRANKLIN went against a great D and got their revenge. On the offensive side, hats off to Alex Ford / Kilo Lee and a great effort from the O-line to keep the run game going. Jarriel had some AMAZING catches from Graham on the night too. Defensively, we came up with the stops when we needed them and it bodes well for the next two games. Great job by the D-line to cover their assignments and by the LBs and secondary to step up and break on the ball. I think those could have been the two best teams in the state that played tonight. Overall, it was a classic game that lived up to it's billing. Having said that, way to go Rebs!!! Keep making us proud. I don't know anything about White Station, but as long as we play our game we should be fine. Looking forward to next Friday night. My only question about the night... what was up with that onside kick after the final touchdown!?!?

  10. Probably because it was a bunch of non-Franklin people from WilCo (Indy, CHS, BHS) egging on HHS supporters and arguing over nothing that had anything to do with this matchup. I've heard great things about the atmosphere at Hendersonville football games so I'm looking forward to making the trip Friday night. Go Rebs
  11. Any chance this is on local or regional TV? I'd love to watch these two teams go at it.
  12. This sounds familiar... /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  13. Every season starts (whether acknowledged as such or not) with the Franklin-Brentwood game as the measuring stick for both teams. This year is no different. Loss to Ravenwood or not, this is the game that determines the rest of the season. Let's go get 'em Rebs.
  14. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I didn't have enough gas to get to Thompson Station tonight (stupid hysteria) but I like hearing this!
  15. I'm pretty sure he wasn't comparing BGA to Franklin. It read to me this way: "Congratulations... we wish you all the luck in the world, unless you play us." I agree with bdd's sentiment 100%. Coach TJ is special and he always manages to get the best out of his teams. BGA will be back to the prominence they held in the late 90s in no time. I wish BGA all the best for this year and in the future. It looks very promising as you've got some great students and a special coaching staff. I can't wait to catch one of your home games. BGA always has a great home atmosphere.
