I read about the Steele kid from Fulton last year in the Shopper. I think he had 50 in a Middle School game and broke 40 a few times as well. I know high school ball is a different world, but fifty points in a 24 minute game is pretty impressive.

Catholic vs Fulton was there really any doubt in anyones mind that it would come down to this? I think not. Well here is my prediction for the game......Catholic scores late to steal a win from the vastly more talented Falcons. Isnt that a ironic someone stealing from the Falcons, usually goes the other way. Free piece of advice for the Catholic fans do not leave any audio visual equipment unattended. Make sure everything is locked up tight and preferablly guarded by heavily armed guard. Good luck Catholic hope the insurance is paid up.

Like i said maybe once or twice is lucky but three times is just better. I will give the Carter people credit for something atleast (as much as i hate to) atleast they're not on here saying how much better they are than Gibbs eventhough Gibbs beat them three times. This district tournament finished just as it should have Alcoa losing to a better Carter team, Carter losing to a better Gibbs team, and Gibbs losing to a better Seymour team. However, Gibbs is not 18 runs better than Carter and Seymour is not 7 runs better than Gibbs, but Seymour just has to much pitching for a double elimination tournament like the district.

And let me state before my comment, I am not a Carter fan. I can understand thinking you're a better team than Carter if maybe they only beat you once. But didn't Carter beat Alcoa twice in the regular season and eliminate them from the tourney? I think beating a team three times states for itself who the better team is.

I know that many of you Rebel ATHLETIC SUPPORTERS have been waiting on me to weigh in on the game. Here goes. The Rebels jump out to a quick two touchdown lead. Then it begins to rain and Rebels begin to fumble. Which allows the Rebels back in the game. The Rebels score late to steal another victory.
