  1. If you can get in touch with Scott Riggs ask him how Maryville treated him and Red bank in the playoffs when they bragged about him being a UT commitment
  2. Powell can beat redbank! I went to the Alcoa Booker T Washinhgton game and BTW was undefeated they came up from Memphis and got took to the bigboys woodshed .Alcoa scored every time they were on offensive. So undefeated doesn't mean anything Powell can do the same thing it comes down to how bad do you want it.
  3. It sounds to me that you are just mad about losing . As for telling you about the players I can`t roll back time `but in the future have your coaches send us the tapes of your next opponent and the coaches will review it and let you know to prepare
  4. Both of my boys played against Alcoa as freshmen and we knew that some of the players for Alcoa were J.V. because Alcoa cound not field a full freshman team. The coaches did not mind , parents did not mind and the players did not mind it was just a chance to play.So saying that is cheating isn`t fair to the kids or coaches that love football and just want to play and have fun.
  5. I heard Alcoa is back on William Blount and Heritage schedule for 2007 . Is this true? It would be nice to have a blount county championship again.
  6. Maryville has some very good sophomores in skilled position 1st Aaron Chamberlain QB extremly accurate passing can move offense for score 2nd Chris Jordon WR.DB good speed and good hands makes plays and scores 3rd Will Larimore WR.DB good speed and good hands can score after catch 4th Cody Mccoy RB real fast and quick moves can score quick 5th Justin Smith DE hard to block makes big plays and sacks QBs 6th Mason Trenda WR DB good hands and speed
  7. I think it is good for kids to start sports in the youth programs because they have alot of fun .I coached youth football for years and I can give several reasons to allow them to play.1st there is some kids that have a mom only and need a male influance in there life at a young age2nd it teaches kids to play togeather and make other friends.3rd it helps to develope personel responsibility and you are never to young to learn that.4thkids that have been playing youth sports for some time have a advantage over most kids when they enter middle school because theyalready know the basics at the sport they have played there are exceptions some kids learn quick but most will stay behind because the coaches will concentrate on the kids that know how to play because time is limited before the season starts.Where I coach we teach football on what the highschool program uses so they are used to the system. My kids have played football and baseball since they wee 7 years old and still play at the highschool level and still have fun.
  8. Tyner when the so called ram train rolls in to Alcoa, don't forget to bring plenty of grief counselers because it will be a long ride home. Alcoa 48 Tyner 14 Go Tornados!! Boro bound
  9. I watched the game tonight and thought it would be better than it was.The Maryville defense was outstanding holding Alcoa`s running backs to the lowest rushing yards all year . They had alcoa`s quarterback off balance all night.Had a excellent goal line stand at the end of the game .Linebackers and d-backs were very good. The offense did pretty good CODY MCCOY AND CHRIS JORDEN (BOTH SHOULB BE MVP) Chris caught a pass from quarterback Aaron Chamberlain at the end of the first half that would make anybodys highlight film.Cody Mccoy punished wouldbe tacklers and broke a very nice touchdown run. Elijah presnell had a couple of nice catches from quarterback Zane Winders .Justin smith had a good run .The whole team played good .REBELRON your wright Maryville has a lot of talant comming up to keep the winning tradition going for a long time.
