ASICS TIGER ,kyle james was not a senior when he danny coleman he was in 10th grade and was not a semi-final it was state finals.kyle was undefeated that year.every one kyle beat in the state finals were 4 time finalist.he stopped 2 guys from being 4 time champs shawn cordell and kelly felix.

BBB,eric also weighed in at 142 lbs and bumped up to 152 to wrestle jt hagen and had already beaten him soundly twice while in high school when at the same weight.while the opportunities where not the same in the 60s neither was the competition.

as far as eric collins not being as good as some of the other guys from red bank there are some statistics that i would challenge anyones career with.first he was like 185-4 in high school each loss to a state champion he beat alot of great wrestlers and made it look easy.here is the part that will be hard to match eric collins was undefeated from kindergarden through eighth grade.so tell me how many guys lose 4 matches in 13 years.i have been involved in coaching many great wrestlers ward,manson,leen,lane ,jamesyost,fuller,mcrosky,roberson,d.johnson to name a few and eric collins was as good as anyone that i have ever coached.i am not saying that he could have beaten them all but he was capable of beating anyone at any time.

The main issue with boys vs girls is that the boy is in a no win situation.He wins, so what he beat a girl he losses well you can imagine the feeling.The building of confidence and the fighting spirit is not the same in a hard fought loss to a girl.I am opposed to boy vs girl at any level.You have to think not only of the girls feelings of acceptence but also where is the reward for the boy in this obvious no win situation.I may take some heat for this but it is how i feel about the issue.Steve Henry is one of the smartest guys I know he always puts alot of thought and preparation into everything involving wrestling.I dont just say this because Steve is my coach and mentor (trust me we have had our disagreements)but because I think his approach to this matter is the most plausible one avaliable.

as far as the apples and oranges statement.freestyle is from the nuetral position very similar.in my humble opinion a double leg is a double a single leg is a single leg front headlock scores keep the guy off your legs and he cant take you down.the most succesful wrestlers i have ever coached all wrestled freestyle it can only help your performance in folkstyle.fargo is the toughest tourny in the country.if you make the medel round there is no weigh in then you see big guys at low weights.example,kyle james morning of medel round weighed 138.8 wrestling 119 he was still the smallest guy in the class.the depth of the field is what sets fargo apart all the big guns are out at junior nationals.it is also the most scouted high school age tourny place there and scholarships are yours.and sexy you are crazy just not soddy crazy

kyle james highest place finish ever from tenn at fargo in the junior division.made it to the pool finals with every place finisher wrestling at the d1 ncaa level the next year

MATT beat merrideth at regions that is why the brackets fell like that.that statement shows alot of class from a grown man. why dont you find matt at the next tourny and tell the kid his state finals was not was not legit.keep up the good work rigger your a real piece of work.

pound for pound manson is in the top three in the state.he was one match from placing in fargo lost in overtime to the 4th place guy one of the hardest workers on the planet

ryan fuller of soddy-daisy will be tough at 130

sometimes there is a thing called momentem you dont like the other team to feed off mansons destroying of a lesser opponent.when we beat bradley 02 we did the same thing to matt keller

i am not incorrect i coached the team that went to fargo.jake placed as a cadet not as a junior

yost never placed at the junior level he placed as a cadet

leen did not place at junior nationals he won the high school nationals

it is hard for me to understand why anyone would dought that kyle james could place top 3 at high school nationals.he already pinned the penn.kid who took 3.kyle would have been the #1 seed as he was the highest ranked guy at the weight.he placed 4 at junior nationals which is a tougher tourny.if dont think fargo is tougher ask the guys who never placed at junior nationals like phillip simpson,kevin ward,jake yost,darrin mcnight,jordon leen,ryan scott,jimmy hiller all of who placed at high school nationals

drem2achev i dont know what planet you are from but if you say soddy-daisy wrestlers are the king stallers you must be from mars.i take that comment personal because i coach an aggressive attacking style of wrestling just ask around.i can remember only 2 stalling calls against us the entire tournament and we were losing both matches.this statement is crazy and if you would like to debate the subject ask around. get some facts and i am sure you will find out you are dead wrong.ask kyle james' opponents if he stalls .i take this remark as an insult directed at me as i coach like i said a pressing attacking style that is designed to wear people down and if we are stalling our whole philosophy is shot. shane turner asst. coach s.d. high
