  1. DCA should win this one. Look for Wooden to have a big day behind that line especially after coming off his worst game in 2 years running the ball. They have a good running QB as well so watch out. Moore County could give them some fits but I don't think they win.
  2. The west will come down to DCA and CPA. Their rematch is going to be good i do believe. I was at the first one when CPA shut down that DCA RB completely and still the game was very close. The score was deceiving, but CPA's smaller line completely dominated the bigger DCA line, so they certainly deserved it. I still favor CPA to come out of the west. One of three teams will represent the east. I am still not decided on which. Cloudland looks impressive on the scoreboard every week, but we all know where that argument is going. SP is coming on strong, but remember who beat them a couple of weeks back........Boyd, who is also playing well. All things considered, I am picking Boyd/CPA in the title game.
  3. In 1A: 1)Chris Wooden 2)Luke Landers 3)Travis Sykes 4)Joseph Ruddle
  4. They should be ranked, they beat DCA last week.
  5. I do believe the 1A state champ will come from Region 5. They are just so successful in the playoffs. CPA and DCA could both easily be there. Yes DCA still has a chance to beat CPA in their possible rematch in the second round. DCA had virtually no running game in the first game and still had it at 14-14 in the 4th quarter and was driving to take the lead before the block FG and TD return. If the DCA line can open up any kind of hole Wooden can get through and gain huge yards. I know, Ive seen when Wooden has room, he is as good as any back in the State. CPA is still my favorite, however to win it all. They are on a mission and they are a good TEAM. They don't have one player that has a great game every week, but they get it done as a unit. Thats how they did it last year.
  6. Tipton-Rosemark beat Lighthouse-Millington 89-0 early in the year.
