Is ken Jones coaching at kenwood? I haven't talked to him since last year when he was recreuting for the Goveners. He had said he would not be an assistant high school coach. If he is could someone confirm this?

I agree Shane is a good coach.

Looks to be wide open and very competitive. Might be an exciting year. Who knows too ealy to tell.

They were physical and prepared. They will do well.

NW young and talented but should be ready when the region starts. They are replacing 9 on one side of the ball and if you coach you know that is tough.

Our boys eat a light snack and then either lay down and get quite and go over written game plans or watch game film studying their opponent. Getting prepared mentally to play the game.

Portland is a great program but will find out that their region is full of talent KW, CHS, Beech, &NW will all be tough opponents. Portland has tradition which is great.

Let the bashing begin, I have spent my last second looking at these post. Speedo get at coaching job somewhere or leave the coaching to the professionals and NW will not be hard to find in October. We have a great group of kids and trying to destroy kids and school on the net is childish. If someone has a problem with the staff be it officials or whomever take it up with them, these kids don't get paid and play for the love of the game. Anyone on the staff will speak to any problem and not always going to please anyone. The present staff has coached the vikings to it's best three consecutive seasons ever in school history, so must be doing something right. Goodbye to all the negative bashing of a great school.

What are your predictions for week 0 games.

It is still early but I'm sure the cats staff will have them ready.

I didn't say anything about the officials, just a comment on penalty yards accrued. I,m sure we will get better. our gurds are very agile just need to play lower. Blocking assignments need work and some more individual drills may be needed. You have vast knowledge of our day to day routine. We have a grand weight program just needs to be overseen a little better. 110's are ran by every major college program for conditioning. Tackling was poor, but our offesive line opened up hole after hole. Thanks for your evaluation though.

NW & NE scrimmage was in jamboree format only a half, and the vikings had flags thrown on them all night. It was the most penalaties I have ever seen throw on one team in a half of football. Both teams have alot of work to do. Score was 12-8

NE did not want to play NW for some undisclosed reason, NW tried to schedule them but no cigar.

When does Rossview play Dickson, Should be a good game.

NW 2 DCA 3 NW 4 MCHS 1 Both were 5 innings and called due to lack of lights being completed.

I have to believe that NW will win the tourney, they are much improved from last season.
