how will region 3 in 4A do next season

You would think if he was goin to resign he would have already done it so that they could find a new coach. They better hurry or they will end up not having one before spring practice.

Does anybody know if Carroll is resigning at Gibbs High School?

Cassen Jackson is by far the best runningback around. Henderson from West make take that spot next year.

Logan O'Connor, Blake Gilner, and Cameron Sharp from Halls

Tonight region 3-4a proved that they are better than 4-4a like i have been saying all along. Nothing will ever change. 3-4a is one of the best regions of the state and 4-4a justs wish they could get past the first round.

By the way KFLfootball if you were such a "legend" at Halls then who are you. I would like to know what can of impact you had on that tradition filled program.

Honestly I think that everybody needs to get off Halls back. They have two average seasons and everybody starts yelling they need a new coach. Thats crazy Coach Shepard is one of the best coaches in Tennessee. He went to the playoffs 7 or 8 years straight. You cant beat that streak with a stick. Leave the guy alone and watch them start man handling people in the very near future. Halls Had it and lost it and are about to get it back.

CAK has definetly improved and will be dominant in years to come but they will not win state this year. Congrats on the biggest win in school history but there in no way they will win state.

First of all its not Hall's its Halls and their defense is always good and their offense is always the down part of their team. That will never change and it doesnt matter if it does. Defense wins championships and that is why Halls has one of the best traditions in the state.

Evidently he is a legend in his own mind because yes Timbo was hurt the whole year with a bad back and Halls tried to spread it 3 and 4 wide and tried to find a seam in the second half at Central and that worked real well didnt it. I believe they had less than 30 years offense that night. KFL are you sure you played at Halls or did you just sit in the stands and and do some arm chair quarterbacking.

Good post redbyrd. I cant believe you played at Halls KFL and think that runnin the option is runnin up the middle. Whatever the DE does determines where the ball goes. I bet you were a big factor on that Halls team werent you.

Then what would they be preparing for

I believe that Union County needs to get a new coach. They had the talent to make the playoffs this year. Maybe not go 9-1 or 10-0 but they definetly should be playing Friday night. Union County needs to hire a new young head coach that can start from stratch and that wants to stay there for a long time. This would hopefully have people in Union County caring about that only sport that really matters, football.

I hate it. You can easily beat the 3-5 if you have a good coach that can adjust to formations that the 3-5 cannot stop and Central has that coach. It sometimes even looks like a 3-6. Its terrible.

knox carter hah thats good one the best team not in the playoffs is gallatin, there is no reason they shouldnt be there sorry for the players, coaches, and fans.

Of all the coaches mentioned i cannot believe that Joel Helton from Central has not even been brought up. Helton is by far the best coach in Knoxville followed by Pemberton at Catholic and deserves to be mentioned among the best coaches in East Tennessee. Here is my top 5: 1. Quarles for the obvious reasons. No Coach in Tennessee is better than he is. 2. Meadows for how he has completly turned the Jeff County program back into a powerhouse. 3. Helton who continues to win year after year in the toughest region in the state and had #1 Maryville beat if they had a field goal kicker that could kick a ball in the ocean. 4. Pemberton for turning a 3-7 team into a 10-0 and ranked #1 in the state team although he does play a very weak schedule. Plays some teams around Knoxville and we will see how good they really are. 5. Coatney because he is still winning after graduating so many athletes off last years team.

there is no way that east ridge can stop jackson with that screwed up defense they run.

ive heard the samething and i hope it is true because coach julian would be great for gibbs.
