  1. I heard that Coach Crowder from Rhea County is interested in the job. He would be big there if there is any talent. He has won State championships on the Jr. college level as well as high-school. He has taken Rhea County to the sub-state 2 of his three years he has coached there. However, I heard that there is a State Powerhouse job coming open and has already talked to him about the job. We don't want to lose him here but I would not blame him if he had a better situation.
  2. Thanks 911 - We are very proud of Rhea County- We also are pulling for you . I hope we make it to the finals against you guys. I know that you all will be there, I just hope Crowder will pull something out of his hat and get our boys there. It is so much fun watching Bradley play. You all have a classy bunch of players. Good luck
  3. Great game!!! The only reason Cleveland was even in the game at all is because they shot 25 free throws.
  4. Big cover-up by the Cleveland people. I guess it worked...
  5. Josh Jenkins #33 has been on a tear lately. Coach Crowder said he is 18 for his last 26 from three point land. He shoots them from the parking lot. He has been hurt all year with a broken finger. This game was awesome. Zach Hyatte dunked on somebody hard in the first half. Cooper hit the big shot at the end,but struggled the whole game. Floyd fouled out . It's sad that the season is over for Brainard because they were a very good team
  6. Talking to a college scout- Smith is definately a D1 player- At any level-If Dane Bradshaw is getting quality minutes at Tennessee then Smith could shine there in a couple of years.
  7. Hey Big Dawg you are an Idiot.............What are you talking math skills?- I have been checking out your English and someone needs to teach you so you will not keep butchering it. Your embarrasing for the State of Tennessee
  8. I was at the Rhea - Ooltewah game. Some of you guys really must not have anything to do with your life. First, to blame a game on the officials is ludicris- the ref that called a technical foul on Cooper did not blow the whistle in Rhea's favor but a couple of times. Any close call went the other way. Secondly, to attack players and actually write their names on here in a negative manner is unbelievable. I am sure none of you guys ever played anything and if so probably not very good . You guys have talked smack all year and I will agree that you all have a very good team, but are very overated. Get a life.
  9. Backyard, pretty good post. However, your comments about Rhea is somewhat disturbing. Rhea tied for 2nd not third with a 5-3 record, This Rhea team has lost 5 games in the State of Tn. with a pretty rough schedule. The players have only played about 10 games together as a full team. With Floyd and Robinson becoming elgible after Christmas. They have had several injuries this year, and have had a couple of players hurt the majority of the year, so do not count them out. As far as Cleveland they have peaked at the right time. Green has done a great job this year. He should be coach of the year hands down.---Cumberland is always competative and has beat Cleveland once and McMinn twice for their District wins. But you are right on it when you say it is Bradley who will win the District. They will bounce back and make it to the Boro with little trouble.
  10. You guys are kidding aren't you? Cleveland is in a different league than the Owls.
  11. George Pitts hands down. Measure the success of a team before and after a coach gets there. Science Hill has always had talent but never won the State before Pitts came. Before Pitts The Hill would make it to the State about every 4 or 5 years. He took them 8 straight times- winning 3 .. Then he goes to Brentwood and wins the the State in his first year. Who in this State has ever had that kind of success? Surely not Bradley although Their Coach is a good one- He has never won the big one. Plus they have nearly 1800 kids to choose from. Baker was a coach for years- has he ever won a championship before? Hands down Pitts!!!
  12. Yeah, He looked injured when he dropped stepped and gorilla dunked it in traffic.
  13. I was at the game. Cooper just killed Rhea. He missed his first 10 shots. Scarface Hyatte was in foul trouble and did not play his normal consistant game. Jay Davis was unconscience - could not miss. Yes, Cleveland outplayed Rhea but the coach from Rhea could do very little in getting Cooper to stop taking forced shots from the parking lot.
  14. Diesel00 good post Hare J. Smith Little Hyatte Merriman Kid from Tyner Pickle White pugh Davis
  15. Central likes to slow the game down and play half court. This will be a huge mistake. Bradley is to talented in the half court game. This will be close at first then da bears will run away with it easy. And as far as the coaching goes the two coaches could switch teams and Bradley wins by the same score..........
  16. There is no way that Cleveland can play with Da Bears this year -- Rilvary or not. Bradley will win by 20 or more period.
  17. Hey. Gomer you ought to try football on the Jr. Pro level, Instead on the high school level! Matt?? You should have taken the baseball job.......
  18. I was at the game. Bradley is one of the best teams I ever seen. They have no weakness. They will win the State.. However, They beat RHEA by 35 last year and Rhea had them in the District before Hare hit a game tying 24 footer with under a minute left. Vegas your an idiot. Are you a coach (football)? Or are you just a wanna be?
  19. Cooper had 4 treys and Floyd had 3
  20. Your right Chill, Rhea did lose to Bearden with 2 seconds to go. I was there. Rhea had played their fourth game of the tournament traveling back and forth to Seymore all week. Rhea played horrible-they looked tired plus Rhea really didn't get to many calls. Rhea is 15 points better than Bearden
  21. There is no one in the State that can shoot long range like Josh Jenkins of Rhea County.formerly with Science Hill. He shoots most of his threes at 26 feet and even beyond. I seen him hit 5 straight bombs in the District tournament last year in the first quarter alone. Kellen Pickle is the next best from the range Jenkins shoots from.
