Cosby is obveously the favorite in this tournament, have they lost at home this year? if not when was the last time they did lose at home?

CAK won. not sure of the final score but both teams played pretty well, i think CAK won by ten cause Wartburg hit 2 or 3 threes the final seconds with the sophomores and freshmen in. anyway i have to give credit to #33 and #3, the brothers from Wartburg (i should know their names but i dont). they both played with alot of class. I have come to the conclusion this season that the best advantage a team can have is home court. everyone seems to win at home. CAK beat Cosby, Cosby beat CAK, CAK beat Rockwood, Rockwood beat CAK, CAK beat Coalfield, Coalfield beat CAK, Rockwood beat Wartburg, Wartburg beat Rockwood...

coachlogan, do you think you will be playing varsity this year or will i be able to find you moving dirt outside the baseball field?

i'd have to say mark baker from CAK. He lead his team to a state championship last year and is looking to do it again this year.

what i meant was that CAK never plays very well in the first quarter (last game the tigers were up 19 - 9 after the first quarter)

if CAK plays well in the first quarter they wont need 68 to win.

Rockwood has a good team but if they play as bad as they did at Wartburg CAK will win easily. Rockwood just cant score enough points to keep up with CAK. The warriors are averaging 68 points per game compaired to the Tigers 58. Your going to say this has nothing to do with the game tomorrow night but i guess we'll all see.

man after the first quarter i knew we were going to be talking about the refs on coacht. i have to admit that they seemed to call in favor of CAK but also need to point out that not very many things called were wrong. i just got done watching game film and i saw maybe one or two bad calls. i think despite all this that CAK had a far better game than Cosby, it seemed like the intensity was not as high for the eagles as it was at their place. plus black hit 5 fewer threes which helps. i was also wondering why Cosby didnt press in the first half. last game that seemed to get them going. good game for both teams. see you guys in the district championship.

ok lets look at last year. CAK beats Cosby by 13 at home and then goes to Cosby and loses by 26 i believe. that may have been a fluke for CAK to win but i dont think that the warriors will get beat by 19 again.

i think most people who dont like him, dont like him because he doesnt come across as a very nice guy. he may do alot for his team, but people love to have someone on an opposing team that they can "hate" more than the others. my personal experiance is that he tried to start a fight after a game with some football players from my school. then he jumped in his car and drove away swearing at them. doesnt sound like a very nice guy to me.

The warriors come out on top of the second game 74-48. I wouldnt bother posting about this but i was wondering if any Midway people could explain the noose that was waved by Midway players to CAK players as they were walking into the locker room before the game. Were the Midway players going to commit suicide? or were they trying to threaten the CAK players? Oh well, warriors are now 11-3 but play Cosby next week and anything can happen against them.

CAK is actually 9-3 but at the end of this week should be 11-3 cause they play TSD and Midway which will both be easy wins.

CAK wins it 79-73. it was a hard fought game by both teams. i believe lack of subs became an issue toward the end, cause everyone was tired cause they were playing their hearts out.

CAK did have a good game. it was close untill the very end and the warriors got up by about 12. then the spartians hit a few cluch threes but had to foul to keep the clock stopped. the warriors hit their free throws and the rest is history. congrats warriors get ready for TSD and Midway later this week.

ok i have a question. when a player subs into the game durring a time out, does that player need to have the ref call him into the game before he can be in the game? because i thought that durrring a timeout all you had to do was check in and you could play.
