ron, I think a better question would be what kind of talent did they have on the 96 team as compared to the current team. You give the coaching staff at Halls the same talent that you're working with in maryville and I guaranteee you they would produce similar results to GQ and company.

FIL, I heard the same thing in the community. It seems that the coaches are all arguing over who is going to put their foot up your lower extremity when they meet you.

I suspect that somewhere along the line that coaches and players will have something to do with the outcome of this game. It's all about "team" and the team that plays the best will usually win. If MW can conquer the mental part of the game, which is about 80%, then the other half of the game should be no problem. Either way, should be a decent game.

When's the last time the hornets beat the bobcats? I don't recall it happening in recent history. Either way, I see both teams playing hard with a lot of running and tackling going on. I'll say it'll come down to one team or the other with the advantage at the end and somebody going home mad.

As for the watering down the field issue at Halls, all I know about that is what I read from fans on here crying about it. I was to busy Friday night watching my bobcats get their mojo working on some other rebels. A thing of beauty. I did here from some reporters at the Halls/mariville game that Halls played one of it's worse games of the year and mariville played one of it's best. Sounds to me like mariville was lucky to escape.

Overzealous moms and dads are too willing to blame the coaches at their community schools and yank them out and send them to the highest bidder. We might as well get used to it because as long as the TSSAA has no teeth in this matter then it will go on. Recruiting your own hallways is no longer good enough.
