Ditto everything pudding said, except stronger. They were pitiful and the idiot calling the Maryville/White Station game is one of the announcers for MTSU. They are absolutely awful. The TSSAA would have been better served to use the local announcers for the teams playing in the respective games. My only question is, Who do we complain to about the sorry announcers?

It is not only poor sportmanship but also bush league. It shows "NO" class on the part of the band director and if they won't stop doing it, they should not be allowed to play at all.

My daughter transfered schools over 20 years ago @ age 13 and to this day will tell anyone that will listen or cares, it was the best thing she ever did. As with anything else, it has to do with the person and how they handle it.

Been around football 40+ years and AncientSCHS is right on. Diet is just as if not more important than liquids and not just 24-48 hours before the games. Make it a lifestyle. Stay off the supplements. Stay off the cokes and caffiene based drinks, icea tea, etc. As has already been mentioned, a mixture of water and gatorade is better than 100% of either. Pedialiyte is a good option if the 50/50 mixture mentioned above does not help. Hope this helps and here is to a healthly season.

Best advice for that TV station is to get rid of Mark Packard.

I tried to watch the game in between lightning delays, and poor announcing by Mark Packard along with his sidekicks. Boy, is Packard terrible or what. Anyway, Oneida basically had zero offense tonight and put that with several key penalties and that spells defeat. With the poor camera work coupled with the even worse job of announcing and it was hard to tell exactly what happened during keys parts of the game. I am sure that the Indians will improve as time goes on. Also, GP's defense look BIG and tough up the middle. It was hard for Oneida to make yards against them.

Excellent point, allamerican2014. Nothing wrong with someone transfering. Last I checked we are still a free country. Although, with the present group in D.C. that could be in jeopardy

Very, very unfortunate that this young man is out for the season. Please, young people that are out there reading this, please, please slow down when you are driving. In fact, all of us need to slow down and be more careful. No one is invincible.

I am not judging C. Newberry without knowing him. I have known him or of him for over 20 years, probably longer than sbtigerfan has been alive. As I said, it doesn't take much to impress 15-18 year kids. Once again, balleret, beware and keep an eye on him and his relationship with your son.

As I said, he is trouble. If the Karns admin. knows what is good for them, they will get rid of him before he brings them some unwanted trouble. Every place that he has been, he has been asked or forced to leave for one reason or another. I hope that he has not achieved tenure as that would make it more difficult to move him out. I would have my son stay as far away from him as possible, if it were me. Good luck.

This is the same C. Newberry that was at Sunbright and yes he created a furor when he left the land of the sun. His teaching tenure was not approved and he was in essence fired. He has been all over Morgan county in one community or another. Not to be trusted from his past actions, and certainly not someone you would want around young impressionable boys. Not to say, he could have changed his ways, but I would have to see proof of that. Beware.
