Yep that's who got the job. It's my understanding that Caden Anderson applied for the job but no dice. He played for the school a few years ago. Guess they wanted to get rid of all the Anderson's? He will make someone a heck of a coach. Great basketball skills....great kid.

You know the people who say negative things about the man are usually parents of kids who simply weren't good enough to play the game. They get their panties in a wad and get upset when the kid is pulled out of the game etc. I have seen it time and time again. Read a negative comment from a man whose kid was one of those. He yelled and complained during the whole game. Had to be an embarrassment to his own kid.

If there ever was a mistake this is it.....

Not sure who is responsible. Heard it was the athletic director/football coach. Ignorance no doubt. Whatever....who can replace him who is better? Lets see who takes his place. Who can coach better than Charlie Anderson? Who please tell me........and the Winner is............??????? .

The coach is awesome. His talents helped Nashville Christian get back on the map. And what do they do? Decide he is not GOOD enough to coach there? Come on........They should be thankful that he even took the job at Nashville Christian. The man is an icon. You say he hasn't REALLY coached in the last few years? His team won the district tournament this year. But of course that is not a national championship. Like he accomplished in 1991. His resume is like none other. Lets hope that someone finds HIM, not that he finds someone. They will be lucky if and when they do!

Let's see. Single A Nashville Christian beats AA Ezell-Harding. Not bad....

This is crazy. I didn't even know what CoachT was until recently. Someone told me to check it out and get a laugh. They were right. It appears that this is nothing but a "therapy session" as everyone vents, brags, ridicules, etc.etc.etc. Let the kids play ball. Let them have fun. They are young and vulnerable and alot of them evidently get on here and read this _______, because it was a player that told me to check it out. Check out what? All the comments made by moms and dads, coaches, has-beens, wanna-bes? I'm out of here. Good riddance.

NCS played their hearts out on Tuesday night for Coach Anderson's 1000th victory. It appeared their heart was just not in the game on Thursday. Eagleville played great defense and NCS just didn't seem to respond. I even heard the comment before the game that they would still be playing on Monday night win or lose. No excuses, just facts. And yes, it was very poorly called, refs allowing players to grab jerseys, physical contact, etc. when those calls should be made, especially in a big game. Regardless, go NCS and Eagleville on Monday night!

What a fabulous game! The NCS team would not back down. They just kept playing hard until they won the game! Wow! I know just down the street in Memorial Gym there was an exciting game, but this high school game ranks right there with it! So proud of Coach Anderson and this team. Congrats to everyone at NCS and Coach!

Scouting reports on CoachT? What a joke. 10 A Tournament is through. If you want to know anything about these teams, go see them play tomorrow night. At least, that's what the coaches and teams will be doing.

Wrong again, Jojo12. NCS played FRA in 02-03 and 03-04 and beat them every time..Hear me...every time. They just happened to be in the same region as NCS and that is why they played them every year. Then FRA just happend to beat them the next year and after that, they were moved up to AA , different district, different region, so they just don't play the anymore. By the way, I was at the game when FRA finally beat them and you would have thought they had won the STATE! Enough said...

Who says this is his last season? How do you know so much? You don't ...it is NOT his last season . You have not heard the last of Charlie Anderson. He is not retiring after this year. I wish you folks would just keep your mouth shut unless you know what you are talking about. Which you don't . Jealousy gets you nowhere....man.....get a life.

Hey, Legend...are you a wanna be or a has been? I can't figure it out. Did somebody at NCS ruffle your feathers? How long did it take you to type out the entire NCS schedule along with their opponents record? Wow. I bet you're a daddy and it's real sad that you have to badger other teams when maybe your son's team isn't dong so hot? or aren't ranked? or didn't play well against NCS? Who knows? Half of NCS's games are against district teams. Is that their fault that they are in that district? They went to Florida and played against AAA schools and only lost one game. Go cry somewhere else. If you can't say anything positive, don't say anything at all.

Hey, Bodawg, We ARE talking about Class A shooters. AT least that's what I read on my computer; Best 3 -point shooters - Class A. By the way, NCS played Kennedy's team when he played for another school in the area. To my knowledge, they beat them everytime. Correct me if I'm wrong......

Who the heck is Southwind? Nashville Christian has not played Southwind. Where do you get your information??????? I haven't missed a NCS game all year and believe me, Southwind was not and is not on the schedule! Man, now I know why I don't read these comments very often. I will stick to the Tennesseean. I guess.

I agree with Voldad. My son played against East Lit during the regular season. He said that they showed the best sportsmanship of just about any team they played. I am behind them 100% and I wish them and their coach the best of luck!

Congratulations to Forrest. They have a great team. When that magnificent homerun was hit, keep in mind that that pitcher will still be pitching high school in 3 years. He was a freshman. So all thngs considered, he didn't do a bad job I think.

So Lipscomb/Beech was an exciting game? Good basketball? Yeah, right. Ask anyone who remembers college ball before the shot clock when Tennessee played Vanderbilt and won 6-4. Ask them how exciting that was! They will tell you the truth. Even the Tennessee fans will tell you........BORING!

Don't care what you say, it is NOT basketball to hold the ball like they did. If winning means everything to you and you are a Lipscomb fan, so be it. Glad I am not. So are my friends that left. I feel sorry for you if you resort to a game like that just to win a game that really meant nothing. It gives Lipscomb a bad name, like it or not. Glad I am not a Lipscomb fan, so I am not disappointed in this kind of game. Couldn't care less. Even if they had won, I doubt there would have been a real celebration. Great job! So winning is everything? Is that why I know friends who left the game at halftime saying they had better things to do? They said is was ridiculous! And that they would not be back to see another Lipscomb game (by the way, they are/were Lipscomb fans). Play ball, so what if Beech beats you? Not to mention the fact that NCS lost to CPA in double overtime and then the very next week blew them away at NCS...let's see now....
