I think this district will be very competitive. My predictions are 1st waverly 2nd sycamore 3rd creekwood 4th-7th up for grabs , waverly- is led by probably the most athletic player in ricco ralston, they have hollis banging down low, they also have the uncanny shooting of johnathon leonard and have a great slasher in curtis reid sycamore-saw them this summer they have some depth they played 10 people and beat mostly everyone they played. The strength of their team would definitely have to be their inside out game . They are led by Josh Barksdale and Brian Bullard. They both take over games when it matters most. Creekwood- they are led by jody derra and terrance darden and rob groves. jody is the all around point who does it all. Terrance is the general of the team. AND Rob is the shooter. They have some young post players who will be decent. Stewart- They have a slasher who i believe is only a sophmore. They also have jamie patterson and some big strong guy handling the post. They will do their high low game to death. Harpeth-people love cody davis but this team is robderricks team. Harpeth should be a little down but look for them to make noise come tournament time. Montgomery Central-Is a team that will get after and bust their tails for 32 mins. i heard their best player dropped out and had a baby any truth to this Cheatham-losing bowers will hurt them tremendously. people love noel smith but he shoots way to many threes he will hit 5 a game but on 15 atttmepts thats not to good. They have good role players in brink, davidson,and moss.

Cheatham may be 7-2 with a chane to win the region, but with there 2 losses coming to 3A teams they will be in bad shape nexted year I promise

As long as Fairview doesn't do anything stupid tonight they got it easy. Cheatham thinks they're so good in there littlt 2A division but they're not. Next year they move to 3A division with the teams that play real football and they will be in for a rude awakening. Go Fairview!!!!!!

I am a district 9 fan that is supporting our teams that are left. sorry i wont be at the games, because i have my own games to be at. actually i the only thing i have said about the games are that Giles will win the region. You have got to be joking... Lewis over cheatham?! Lewis got beat by Marshal. I will give them credit though, it was a high scoring game 33-38 (coming from coacht) Cheatham will win this one NO PROBLEM. Lewis might have size but Cheatham's got a nasty three point game, if they are on.

Creekwoodcrazy is probably a good kids, just doesn't know much about basketball. CW will be fine in a few years, but not right now.

What r u talkin about Sycamore never beaten u? I do believe they beat yall last year. Yall havent beaten Waverly at all. But that doesnt mean yall cant win. It just means the odds r against u and u r the underdogs, and underdogs normally r not the ones that get picked to win the game.

I look for this one to be a lot closer than the last meeting between these two teams. Last game Burney wasnt hitting his shots because of the great defense of Josh Rives and Randy True, and Sycamore shot lights out in the second half. Sycamore's team defense was also great that game. Look for the fans to become a big factor. If they keep all of these thing up look for Sycamore to come out on top by about 15 or 20.

Sycamore is hot right now. Look for this game to end early. With the superb play of Logan Pierce and the excellent shooting of Sycamore's gaurds, they are going to be hard to beat. Creekwood might of beat them last time, but Sycamore was going through alot of internal problems. Good luck to both teams.

I was just kinda wandering about 10aa and who people thought should be in contention for mvp of this district My predictions are Derra:Creekwood- excellent shooter/very flashy plays like a young pistol pete Dansby-Harpeth-this kid can flat out shoot the three ball Bowers-Cheatham- tallest kid on team but still plays point guard enough said Pierce-sycamore- this is probably one of the strongest/quickest players Burney-montgomery central-most potential makes teammates better can get his own shot on anyone. Ralston-waverly-best ovarall player in the district great athleticism I honestly think whichever team wins the tournament that the player mentioned above will win the MVP

I think the game friday is going to depend on one thing. Sycamores ability to defend! that is what its going to come down to (but thats just my opinion).
