This is Nic Shields. Some one told me that you thought i started that best eight grader topic on myself. But to let you know that wasnt me. Just thought i would tell u that because i dont want you to think less of me, but under that post i did say i needed to work way harder b4 i could ever be considered best 8th grader in the state. I do thank you and Rusty for making me the wrestler i am though.

If overton isnt starting i dont care how much he weighs he cant be too special.

Hey did anyone go to the Mccallie tournament? I think its one of the best instate tournament i have ever been too. It didnt go to slow and there were a lot of good wrestlers. What did yall think of it if you went?

Sorry there is way to many posts under this topic to read so im not sure if what im gonna say has been said. I think stalling should not be called in the first round only. Because wrestlers are fresh there are so many moves out there u should be able to do something about it. But i understand in the later rounds when someone is staling it should be called right off. We all know the reason it should be called though. It can cause the better wreslter to loose, and its just cheap. Im sure the rule will never be changed though about the whole first round thing.

I like what kevin said. He makes a good point about as long as they land in a safe position. Plus slams make wrestling so much more of a thrill and more entertaining for the audience, and we all know we need as many spectators as we can get for wrestling. When i was younger thats all i would do cause i was pretty strong for my age and after i picked up those little kids they would fear me for the whole match. Even though i dont use slams much anymore i still think they are a great part of the sport.

hey this is Nic shields i have wrestled 3 national tournaments. Placing 5th in one and 3rd in the other. My dad takes me to any and every tournament we can get to. I appriciate yalls comments, but for your information ive wrestled many tournaments out of my back yard. No i am not the best 8th grader in the state either though. I need to work a lot harder before i could ever say that.

Landon is 145 hes from louisiana and zach iss a good wrestler hes extremely strong but he hasnt been in the sport long enough

im not sure about him for some reason, cause ive been at maryville for 2 yrs now. maybe jeremy webb will tell u ssomething cause i know he gets on here and he wrestles at seymour.

i dont think abercrombie is as great as yall think he is im an 8th grader 119 wrestler and i think i would give him a run for his money. Well i cant really say that though cause ive never wrestled w/ the kid.
