Probably so Blue 50 but I think that Crocker has been starting quarterback for 3 years now and he is not going to do anything to hurt his team by throwing off balance while defenders are in his face. The line needs to learn how to block and this is also evident in their running game. I agree with satamqb...... maybe not for the change but for alot of practice or a change if necessary. People that were in certain special team postions should have stayed the same as last year. We have alot of talent that is not being utilized. Maybe they need some playing time. I hope Ethan is okay, maybe that is what happened to us......... I wonder. Defense did an excelent job but we need to rest them when we can, especially the two way players.Camden played an excellent defensive game and had an excellent game plan.

Actually, Chris Donald,Cody Crocker,Scott Hampton and Phillip Weathers are doing a fine job in the back field(leading West Tennessee in offense). If they just stay focused they will be alright and the MUSTANGS will be alright.All four of these boy's stat's come from the O-line-Keep up the great job line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking as an old alumni from the 1989 Huntingdon Football team I must put my two cents in. Although I do not post much on this site I cannot keep quiet anymore. Chris Donald and Boo Weathers have done an excellent job running the ball this year as Cody Crocker has done an excellent job as quarterback. The decision to make this sophomore the starting quarterback for this team was the right choice to make. He has done an excellent job faking and hiding the football. If you have a chance to read the Jackson Sun stats you will see he is in the top ten in West Tennessee in passing and completion percentile. Everyone is going to have bad plays once in a while as we saw Friday night (not qb)but to key in on one player and to make the comment Catpaws has made just proves he speaks more about the Mustangs than he actually knows.

Coach T- I am having trouble on one of my computers with the sequence of the posts. When I click on a topic to view, it shows the topic and begining post in one box then below it shows all the replys in another box, only giving the first line of the response. To get to view all of the replies you must click on the post. This doesn't happen on any of my other computers.What have I done to make this happen and what can I co to get the sequences run concurrent like it does on all my other computers? I am sure I must have done something with the settings but I have tried for a week to fix it and I can't. Your help would be greatly appreciate.Thanks in advance-Your website is great!!!!!!!!1

Can you not just brag on your team-you are 3 and 0. Don't worry about Huntingdon-we will see you in week 7. Then you can talk about how bad the coaching is from Huntingdon because we will run the score up on you . (Once again). I rarely ever post but love reading how you are interested in Huntingdon more than your own team. GO STANGS!!!!!!!

Great game to both the Huntingdon team and the Gleason team. All the girls on the court played their hearts out last night. Congratulations Fillies on an awesome win and to the Gleason girls for a well played game. Also would like to recognize Brooke Pritchard, she had a great game tonight. You make us proud Brooke.

Train, I feel like you may have some difficulty comprehending the English language, so I will try to keep this at your level and you can have your mother explain what this means. No Huntingdon fan ever said that our Fillies didn't deserve respect, they stated that they didn't receive the respect they deserved. There is a big difference between the two (again this is where you made need someone to break this down for you). Huntingdon is a football town, always has been, probably always will be. Therefore, our basketball program doesn't get that much following. Even so, that doesn't mean we don't think they deserve our respect. The players did not pick their schedule, they can't help who is in their district anymore than you can. Regardless, they are an awesome team and I wish them luck with the game tonight. Fillies we love you, people like Train just have a hard time following the lines.

This will be one of the best played games of the season. Two of the best teams in West Tennessee going head to head from tip off until the sound of the last buzzer. I predict the Fillies will get the win but it won't be easy. Smith, Melton and Fuller will be key players in the game. All of the Fillies are team players; their coach expects no less. I feel we (as Huntingdon fans) don't give the Fillies the recoginition they deserve and I am sorry for that. The boys get more threads on here and the girls are a better team than the boys. I am looking forward to another trip to state with these girls. Good luck Fillies- you all are a very talented team!!!

Our boys are certainly showing some improvement in team work. I hope it continues, but occasionally they do slip back to their "it's all about me" ways. Old habits are hard to break. Needless to say, I am very proud that they are making the effort to be team players- at least some of them. If they keep their heads on straight and out of the clouds I forsee a possible district championship. They certainly have the talent but leadership is still lacking. Regardless , they deserve our support. My thoughts remain the same about their coach, I would like to see someone new next season.

Lexington will be hard to hold. They have an excellent organization, but I also think they may be in for a surprise tonight. Huntingdon has come together more as a team the last few games. It will be too close to call, GOOD LUCK MUSTANGS! Play hard and be safe.

Way to go Mustangs on your win over West Carroll!!!!!! This is a good example of how unity= a win. I understand Coach Morris has tightened the reigns somewhat on his mustangs. This is a step in the right direction but I feel maybe he has ventured too far off coarse to ever get back what he has lost with his players.As for some of the previous posts, I do not feel anyone was picking on any one player. We were merely pointing out the fact that these players were taking control of their own team. The coach has let that happen. If Terrance Bell, or any other player, had even once talked to Coach Mansfield the way they do Coach Morris they would have been benched no questions asked.The fact is they did not because they knew the consequences. A child will try to get away with what you allow them to. Coach Morris has allowed his players to go too far. Now he is trying to get control back. It may be too late for the older players but he may have a chance with the younger ones. The B-team played a good game last night also. He has some young talent that is waiting to be unleashed. It is up to Coach Morris to lead them to the right direction. I hope what I hear is true and he is going to crack down and be a leader for these boys. Good luck Mustangs.

I agree mustang69. This coach is an embaressment to the entire athletic program. I have never seen a coach let his players talk to him in the manner he lets some of his starters do. They are losing games that should be won. They truly have some young talent going to waste. I would love to see Coach Ezell move up. He is one of the best basketball coaches I have seen and he demands the respect of his players.

:A good coach always expects 100% from their players 100% of the time. C.A. is on the schedule just as any other team is and the end result is either a win or a loss. I would be upset if Huntingdon had left their best players in for the majority of the time but they didn't. I agree that you can't expect the girls who get little or no playing time not to do their very best. It is regretable for the C.A. players but you can't blame these girls for playing ball- thats what they came there for. As for westtnstate- you need to let go of the past. One word-THERAPY. Quit your crying .

It has to be Clarksburg. The last game I went to see ther the fire marshall had to come out because it was so packed. No hatin on the Burg though. They have the most town support of any basketball team I have ever seen.(maybe because it is the only sport they really play)

Huntingdon High School has many good freshman players.These boys lead their middles school team to astate championship last year. Keep an eye out for Chris Donald Cody Crocker and Brent Taylor, they will be hard to hold. Not only do Chris and Cody play an awesome game of basketball ,they are hard tohold in that baseball diamond too.
