The problem with a GOOD TEAM PLAYER is alot of time they get over looked. Just like a good defensive player. I agree with statement about the star player getting by with more than just your average player, and alot of girls teams are brought down with silly bickering that does often come from home. As parents we need to have team work in us, so we can teach it to our children .

I have two sons and two daughters, and no my girls may not be as rough as my boys; however, they are just as mean and determined. 1) The parents & coaches tell those kids whether they are big post players or small point gaurds : TO BE ROUGH DO NOT LET THOSE GIRLS PUSH YOU AROUND. 2) Most of the time the refrees could really care less ( a few care). I have seen a refree call a fall foul for reaching in or coming over the back then see a player tripped or pushed down and just stand there and do nothing at all. 3) I have never seen a boys game be anymore physical, and if you think that you are just plain stupid!

Our prayers are with the families. I always enjoyed watching Mallory play softball, but her hustle on the basketball court will always be in my thoughts when I think of her. The Reeds' from Loretto.

i never said the girls that made the list aren't good. however, i think a lot of the choosing relies on the coach. that is where it gets a person to wondering??

one young lady has signed with UNA and was not even nominated? she leads her team in hr, sb, slugging % over 700, only 2 errors in 4 years on defense?????
