congratulations to the greenbrier bobcats on a terrific season. i didn't get to see you much due to my schedule, but you guys had an awsome year that surprised everyone. also congratulations to all the bobcats who made the all region list, especially region mvp justin pigg.

sorry, the only thing i give you credit for is being the black sheep of the lipscomb family. like i said earlier there are good and decent people who pull for lipscomb but you unfortunately are not one of them. and if you think you have made some sort of impact on the greenbrier community you are an even bigger fool than i thought. i almost feel sorry for you. im predicting two 8-aa teams to make it to the state. good luck to mlk and lipscomb.

big headed ive havent learned my lesson yet ben: obviously you must like the taste of crow. you said in another thread lipscomb wouldnt come close your almighty royals yet they beat you. im sure walker valley is excited to have a chance to play for a trip to the state. they are playing on their home floor and seem to be red hot. so if you ask walker valley who they wanted monday night they would probably rather have mlk at home than the region tournament champion lipscomb away. dont get me wrong i hope mlk wins because of the players on the team but you make them look bad by your non humble and non graceful posts. you have been hanging around doc too long.

bombsquat my point is exactly what catsbball said. they did not dominate greenbrier at all this year like bigroyalben has said. they didn't dominate your mustangs tonight either. congratulations to your team. i feel sure you didn't have a single thing to do with it. i'm sure there are some good and decent people who go to or cheer for lipscomb, unfortunately you are not one of them. what a shame your parents spent all that money for you to attend a private school and you turned out the way you did.

one more thing. how many greenbrier fans are making the trip? are they taking a fan bus? if so what time is it leaving? the home games at greenbrier had big crowds. how many students are coming? with this game being at livingston greenbreir needs to bring a good crowd to support thier team. this is the best basketball team greenbrier has had in a while. anyway good luck to all the boys.

ive seen greenbrier play several games this year but have not seen livingston play. i would like for a livingston fan to tell us about your team. i know they have a good record, but what about thier size and shooters? what kind of defense do they play? how many seniors do they have? it looks like it may snow the game out tomorrow night. what about a weather report from east tn?

you 7-aa fans keep overlooking greenbrier and station camp. dont worry about either team. they probably cant match up with livingston or upperman. just too weak and no size or shooters. you guys just worry about lipscomb and mlk. after all greenbrier lost to mlk 2 times and lipscomb 3. station camp lost to mlk 3 times and lipscomb twice. both teams have played a weak schedule too. it should be a breeze into the semis for both livingston and upperman. nothing against jackson co or smith co but those games might get real ugly. jackson may struggle to get in double figures. mlk will press all 4 quarters even if their up by 50. lipscomb will play some bench to save their starters for the semis. mlks coach likes to pad the stats and look good in the paper. someone from the east gives us a weather report

can someone tell me why this tournament was moved from white county to livingston? does livingston have plenty of seating?

timmy, they havent played yet. and how would someone from bdp land know how good livingston is anyway? you know how good greenbrier is because they blew white house out twice this year.

i thinks its funny a couple of macon county fans can get on here and talk about greenbriers coaching strategy and players but yet their team has only won like 5 or 6 games in two years. i saw the macon game at home and greenbrier played their jv 3 quarters and still won big. they won't run the score up on you like these teams out of nashville, like mlk and hume fogg will. greenbrier has a little more class than that. i think you macon fans have a whole more to worry about with what your post players and your entire team team are going to do than worry about what greenbrier is going to do. i know greenbrier is moving on to the regionals even if they did have a bad district tournament. looking at the brackets in the paper it may be in their favor to be a 4.

have you seen greenbrier play? you may be in for a little surprise. not taking anything away from livingston, but greenbrier has a pretty good team this year. i hope the bobcats can pull the upset.

didn't greenbrier beat portland last year with brewer? what makes you think they can beat them this year without brewer? greenbrier has everybody back from lasts years team and should make a run for the district title. from reading all the posts it sounds like station camp is also another contender. i also saw where springfield scored 81 points in their first game in a win over harpeth. hume fogg, lipscomb, east lit, and of course mlk will be tough teams to beat.

looking at the standings. mlk has wrapped up first and macon has wrapped up ninth. Springfield may not get out of eighth. which really surprises me with all their talent. second through seventh is up for grabs. depends on who wants it bad enough.
