  1. All-time Clarkrange scoring leader (SR) Brandon Upchurch would be who you are referring to. That is a good description "CAN DO IT ALL"! Tall, lanky, quick, even tempered, court saavy, team leader, shoot the lights out up to 3-4 foot behind arc, posts up hard when needed down low, runs the offense from the point, pin point passer, can play tough D when needed as well. The other 4 starters have some of the most heart, grit, and determination that can be on any one team. Entire team has a "never out of it" mentality. Upchurch determines how this team performs. If he is off they are very beatable. If he is on...LOOK OUT...It could be a long night for the opposing team! Good Luck Buffs! Play Hard and Win!
  2. 3. We have probably one of the newer nicest gyms in middle Tennessee. The Dawg House holds 1850 before standing room. The Crusaders fans can feel welcome behind their teams bench. The most rabid Bulldawg fans sit on the opposite side facing the score table and behind the Dawgs' bench.
  4. Half: Clarkrange - 54 Copper Basin - 10
  5. 3:00 left in 2nd quarter Clarkrange - 50 Copper Basin - 5
  6. CONGRATS LADY CATS! WE ALL KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!
  7. Greatly appreciate the invite. Had too many things around my "own" Dawg House to get away. Will definitely be pulling for you in game #36 and will have Gary C. in my ear! All of you would be more than welcome to come help us on Monday night as we tackle Temple! JUST DO WHAT YOU DO BEST LADY BUFFS.....WIN! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. Now Gomocs, better be careful with the name-calling. The art of "trash-talkin" is not to get personal. Notice all those little x's besides a few other threads? CoachT is "crackin' down" on any thread that strays from the subject of basketball. I'm afraid straight up name-calling would definitely be regarded as straying from the subject. Me and Bigbird have already agreed we can have fun this weekend without getting nasty. So for all of us that would like to keep this thread up....Tone it down....just a little! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  9. Believe me I know! I was behind the wheel those 3 tours of duty we had in Choo-Choo land. The ride back to my house in 2006 was much more satisfying. Just to let our East Tennessee friends know, the Dawg House will open 2 hours before tip-off. So you better come early for a seat! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  10. Confidence comes with age...my younger years have passed me by. I my friend am preparing for the climb toward the peak. Looking forward to the coasting the backside of the mountain provides. But I do appreciate the compliment. Plus, there's a good chance the majority won't be sitting but instead standing and cheering! The only sad faces will be those realizing the long bus ride that awaits them as they travel back to the lonely confines of the Southeastern corner of our lovely state! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  12. Devils08 I will agree to your logic but actually your comment helps prove my point. On paper Jackson Co was not supposed to lose because on paper they were the stronger and more successful team than Pickett County. The Lady Cats rose to the occasion and Jackson didn't play to their potential and were defeated by what appeared on paper as a weaker team (no offense intended). I am just saying that on paper that Pickett should be considered the stronger team if you look at their strength of schedule. Which means if Pickett plays to their potential of the regular season then they should be victorious. But, if CSAS rises to the occasion and Pickett has an off night, then CSAS could win! Strength of Schedule is certainly not a guarantee of victory but it is an indicator of how the game could go!
  13. Megan, everyone in Bulldawg Country hated to hear about your injury. We all likewise wish for you a speedy recovery. Travel with your team tonite and be the motivator that will help get you all to the 'BORO next week! From the VOICE of the DAWGS!
  14. OK Catchandthrow, first thing is where have you been this entire season? Second, Clarkridge isn't traveling anywhere but Clarkrange is! Third, are you a Grace fan? If so you should know your Golden Eagles have already played Clarkrange twice during the regular season. Grace defeated the Buffaloes both previous times. However, Clarkrange is playing much better than they were back then so it would be a fatal mistake to overlook them before playing them! Good Luck Rodney and the Buffs from the VOICE of the DAWGS! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> !
  15. Bigbird, I couldn't have said it better myself! We can all have fun spouting off what we HOPE our teams do, but it will be up to the guys when its gametime to put up or shut up. We know as well you do that either one of these teams could win this game whether it being played in Celina or Chattanooga or out in a field in Tim-Buk-Too! The main thing we all need to remember and so many forget sometimes is that it is just a GAME...An important game mind you...BUT JUST A GAME! I just hope the teams play to the best of their ability without injury and our guests from the east come, enjoy themselves and return safely home to see Tuesday!
  16. Just curious, how many CoachT posters will be in attendance Monday night? Of course there is another big match-up going on across the line in Overton County! H-O-G-E-Y-E the Wildcats will be in the 'BORO, just you wait and see!
  17. Nothing to admit...Just the Facts man....Just the Facts! Hey DaddyO, there won't be any excuses on our part come Tuesday morning. The deck is stacked in our favor. If we lose the most important game in 4 yrs in OUR house in front of ALL OUR FANS, with a SENIOR HEAVY team, with referees that usually help the HOME team, then there won't be any excuses except one: WE JUST LOST!
  18. Gomocs, I will be the first to tell you we are VERY happy not playing Grace Baptist. If we were that would mean we would be the traveling team and heading towards Chatty town once again. But, we're not! We are the host team and Temple is the traveling team and THEY have to come into our house and prove once again how big and bad the Crusaders are. Seems I remember a certain very talented Mr. Skogan came calling 4 yrs ago determined to prove that same thing. But he found out different when they finished their tour of the UC. The 1850 that our gym holds will be made up of 1500 rabid Bulldawg fans, the 150 to 200 that you might bring, and the rest will be the close knit District 7A fans that will be there just to see the City boys get their butt kicked AGAIN! Just to let you know before the game starts, the home team will get the majority of the calls to go their way..Always have probably always will. The Sub-State road game is arguably the hardest game of the season to win for the traveling team. Our match-ups alone have proved that! Bigbird, the stats you came up with is good stuff. Our game plan is not to hold Temple to 30+ points. But it will be to play defense like you have never seen before. If carried out according to plan, then Temple should end up about 15-20 points under their average. The Dawg House will be Loud and Rockin' come Monday night! Should be a good show for all those attending! Once again I hope no one gives us a chance to win! That means we can play and have fun while doing it and Temple will have the pressure on them to meet the lofty expectations doled out by their fans and media alike!
  19. The role of underDAWG makes the win that much sweeter! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
