I wasnt trying to be smart or mean by the comment that i made, i just thought it was funny how some Powerade water bottles could cause pages worth of comments and remarks. Just having a little honest fun!

The fact of the matter is Tyler Smith is one of the best players in the state, in spite of CBarkley's opinion. He deserves credit for what he has done. He's one of the best, if he wasnt any good then he wouldnt be considered to be by so many people. I really dont understand why everybody hates Tyler, his athletic ability is among the best and thats all that matters. Most of you people dont even know anything about him yet you post all this crap about how Tyler cant shoot, or Tyler has a bad attitude, or Tyler is not that good. Tyler has the chance to play at Oak Hill, im sure none of you have a player on your team that has that opportunity. Oak Hill is an elite basketball school, and they want Tyler. What does that tell you? Tyler is one of the best and despite what you all think, he will continue to be. Oak Hill obviously wants him for something, his athletic ability and his skill. Thats all any of you need to know. Not trying to start anything, im just tired of everbody hating Tyler for no apparent reason. Go watch Tyler and you will understand what i am talking about. Tyler is one of the best, and all he gets is people who doubt him and put him down yet he plays through this and he has for 3 years now. Tyler has proved himself many times yet people just dont want him to be good. Its sad how a great player is treated like crap after giving everyone years of some of the best basketball in the state.

Im not trying to be smart with the posts ive put on here, just having a little fun. Im not trying to disrespect anyone here, just having a good time.

I agree totally with you Ragland, you should show your support even if you are the best or the worst. I am glad someone finally addressed this issue. Most of the students at my school dont yell and cheer for our girls team because they say its not exciting or its not as good as boys basketball, or its not worth cheering over and thats crazy. Not supporting your team just shows how classless you are, i believe that you should support your teams(boys and girls) because they are representing your school and they are your fellow classmates. Our girls team would have more confidence and they would win more if they just got support like our boys team. Im glad i could get that off my chest. GO BOBCATS!!! Until next year.....

From what i hear about Corey he seems to be a great athlete. I guess he would have to be to be a McDonalds All-American. He is definitely Florida worthy and I wish him the best of luck!

Exactly. If Tyler decides to leave, good for him! Nobody is going to be mad if he leaves, we will all congratulate him. How many other teams out there can say they have a player that has the opportunity to play for an elite basketball school like Oak Hill? Either way Tyler is still gonna be a great player. If Tyler leaves good for him, if he doesnt, thats great too. We have a team that is capable of winning without Tyler, even though it would hurt us a little, either way, go Tyler and GO BOBCATS!!!

This is what i think: Channing Coffey(definitely), Tyler Smith(if he stays), Zach Holt, Deron Garrett( has unlimited potential, lots of shooting ability), Corey Perry. Other possibilities: Daren Holt( trey shooting machine) definitely talented. Zach might get some playing time, can shoot three from anywhere at any time he wishes, gifted shooter. Things are not looking too bad for Giles Co. basketball next year!!! GO BOBCATS!!!

Personally i dont think he will leave. He has a chance of going to great colleges whether he stays or not. He might have a chance of going to UNC, Louisville or those calibur colleges if he leaves for Oak Hill. Either way i will back him in whatever decision he makes. wneely, Texas does sound pretty good!!! Hook em!!!

Giles didnt really play that well last night. Its a good thing that the game was just a scrimmage. Giles will definitely be a force on the soccer field. Congratulations Matt on your goal. I am looking forward to a great soccer season. GO BOBCATS!!!

All i know is the winner of Bolivar vs. Raleigh Egypt is my pick to win the State Championship. Both are awesome teams. What a start to the state tourny!!! Good luck to all the teams in the State Championship.

I have to go with Bolivar this year. They seem to have all the momentum going in their direction. I have to take Bolivar. Good luck to all the teams.

After the way Sycamore battled us and Bolivar, you get my respect. All of the players seemed pretty cool and i wish you luck. GO BOBCATS!!!

All i know is the score was 12 or 13 to 0. I am not really sure who scored, i know Ryan Maynard had 2 or 3. Looks like its going to be a great year for Bobcat soccer, wneely give us some info on what happened and who scored. GO BOBCATS!!!

Congratulations Loretto on a great season, you definitely represented district 9AA better than i could have imagined. You have a HUGE amount of heart and talent and sportsmanship and for that i give you my props. Great year for the Mustangs, get your heads up, i know you will be back next year. Congrats on an awesome season, see yall next year!!!

Congratulations Southside, yall were the better team tonight. I give my props to you for playing a great game, we just got out-played tonight. Free throws and poor defense killed us. Theres always next year, maybe we can learn from this loss and realize that were not invincible. Jackson came ready to play and as a result they are going to state. Congratulations to the Bobcats on another awesome year! Lets bounce back next year and go even farther!! Good luck to Southside in the State Tournament, yall earned it. Get your heads up Bobcats, learn from this game and do something to better yourselves and come back next year with a new attitude and a desire to hoist that gold ball above your heads, Congratulations, you truely showed that you are a great team. To all the seniors, Shay, Kash, J-Mo, Wes Carter, and Chris P., even though this season is over, your contributions and memories will never be forgotten, hold that championship ring high and be proud because you will forever be a Giles County Bobcat!!!
