  1. A lot of emotions are sky-high in the Bradley/Clarksville matches and many times those who are sitting in the stands( a real tough job) are berating and insulting those wrestling even though they more than likely would get their own tails whipped by most stepping on the mat.(this comes from both sides by the way). What joy it must bring the wrestler and or team who listens to those insults when they get the victory,or,more importantly get to raise the team trophy. How else do they get back at the has-beens and nobodys in the stands who think those insults and signs are cute? My cousin got to raise the trophy at the opposition a few years back and said it was a great way to pay back those who were screaming at him. I noticed Franklin raised the trophy to the Bradlely fans. This is not a criticism. They had knocked off the top dog and were proud and excited. It was part of the emotion of the moment. As if to say "we have it now" Which they did and they earned the right to display there excitement. Also, I dont recall anyone from Bradley claiming there should have been a slam in the last match in 2000. They knew they lost it fair and square.
  2. Ryan Konz is hardly a fish in the barrell(piranah maybe). Are you trying to rile the Franklin Faithful now?
  3. Very Very Classy Mr. Knox! It shows why your two sons are so successful in their current endeavors. I will repeat again that it easily could have been Justin. I didnt catch his whole tourney. I saw 2 and then the finals. He was the most dominating finals wrestler in this chicks humble opinion. You show respect for the sport.
  4. Sommers this may totally surprise you but I actually agree with much of your post. Konz was as tough as they come regardless of the freshman factor. My inside info. (youll love this Rigger) is that the votes went to knox Coleman and Meredith. Very even. Any could have gotten it. If thats the case what weighs in? Factors like career performance could play a part if all else in the referees eyes seems equal. As far as the quality of the finalist opponent, Colemans was every bit as tough. Meredith seemed to dominate his weight class on the road to the finals more. Knox was one of the most if not the most dominate of saturdays final. How do you choose? No one could have argued with any of them. There can only be one however. At that point maybe the fact that Coleman was a four time finalist figured in. But Jimbo145 is right in that there always seems to be more than one deserving wrestler.
  5. the two of you dont seem to have the greatest of respect from many on this board. Rigger your just upset because you started a ridiculous thread that many from Bradley jumped on. What is punchline in your lol? You enjoy seeing ladies in distress? Soms you just cant stand not knowing who every one is. Who needs to lighten up? It is nearly over. I do agree with your statement of lifes to short but evidently not too short to email different people to find out who they are. And your insinuations have caused at least this lady and who knows who else you have bothered and who besides the Creagans that you have tried to guess at in some form or another? You obviously cause Lovinit some undue stress.. For what? As you said life is too short. So to use your terms "lets be happy" I can live with that if you can.
  6. Nice end run Rigger. You were wrong apparently according to those that saw and commentated on the broadcast from what Ive been told by Mr. G there is a definite two count given. Im sure Mr. Creagan would send you a copy.
  7. My guess is it was Sommers grasping at straws again as he did a while ago. Soms why dont you address a form letter and accuse all Bradley supporters. If you emailed lovinit and still had the guts to make the accusation about the Creagans you truly are the obsessed fool most figure you for. Take a swing at everyone and you might make it stick theory. Your pathetic Lovinit is a classic example of hurting someone. If you did email her you owe her an apolgy. Those of you who defend him should now see the light.
  8. I wont bring out the fangs but I will make one comment. A certain thread was pulled today as I got on again at 4pm and it was no longer there. Its my guess it was pulled because of the ridiculous innuendo that its content was based on. Good luck to Farragut, it seems those from their program that responded felt one of there own was all wet. Including there coaching staff.
  9. Im not saying that at all. Im saying you have no business dragging someone into a problem you and I have. You are making a false innuendo and you are dead wrong to do so. Pretty cheap on your part but Ive learned that about you. I do know many referees very well so do with that what you will but brighten up and dont guess on here to drag innocent people in. I think a lot of the Creagans and think you should respect them more than you have. The Creagans have a good reputation in the wrestling community and in the Bradley program. I hardly think it could be tarnished by the feud you and I have. And yes I started keeping up with your posts again. Im glad I did after this. No wonder you are so disliked by most bear fans. Much of what you say is not in fun. So to play tongue in cheek now doesent float. As many of your predictions didnt.
  10. Mr. Sommers. It is obvious you are referring to Mike Creagan father of Travis Creagan. Please do not drag them into this. You are as wrong about this as you have been your posts. Why do you continueally try to hurt other people. They are good people and you are off base once again. You dont nor will you ever know me. Im extremely happy for that. Is there a point to your post about him? Other than to stir more trouble up in the Bradley program? You are off base and a troublemaker. Look through the old posts, I gave you a clue one time and you missed it. Dont bring Creagans in to this. Your truly a lowlife and need to know of which you speak.
  11. You wanted this to be checked out later--here it is. You were close on the finalist. The rest was a LITTLE off. By the way both Franklin and Bradley need to be commended for their great seasons. What great coaches and wrestlers both programs have. Next year should again be fun
  12. Sommers--Your right they are in the top 7
  13. Only ONE team broke 200 points. Ill leave the analysis of the accuracy of your predictions to others.
  14. Yes, Thank you Allan Jones and Mike Creagan for getting the championships on the air. These kids deserve the coverage.
  15. As I watched Mr. Creagan celebrate his sons win the other night I couldnt help but wonder if he was thinking about 123 and the other detractors who posted negative responses on this thread. It appears as if his son Travis put up the final "post" while winning the state title saturday night.
  16. Way to go Bears. You should be on the prowl to make 5 strait traditional titles(a record) turn in to 7 strait considering your youth. Great job to all wrestlers and coaching staff.
  17. Interesting quote by a man whose team "struggled" to stay close to fifth place. I usually hear positive comments about coach Jordan.Hopefully its not just anti-Bradley feelings from him. Maybe he was misquoted. If not, he should have phrased it a little better. Hopefully hes not caught up in the lets hate Bradley because they always win syndrome as many seem to be. I also would like to echo the praise on the performance of this very young team and new coaches. The staff did an outstanding job making the state dual finals again and winning the traditional title. As everyone knows by now, Lookout the next two years as the Bears are growling.
  18. Dragon fan, We noticed he was throwing up before the match. We thought he must have been ill or nervous. You have clarified he had an illness. Im sure he will do better when healthy. Hopefully they will get a rematch in the final. The intent of my post was not to offend the Collierville 103. It was in response to another that our 3 would have earned 6 for the bears vs franklin if they had to forfiet or not. We knew your 103 had been ranked at the top all year. Good luck to your team. You have some tough kids. Hope you stay healthy for State Indiviuals. CHICK
  19. Pin4U Your the one that accused of biased and read something unrelated into the topic. Look at your post. You struck first, I responded. What in that post got your blood pressure up to accuse of bias? It simply stated the facts, which you didnt seem to care for for some reason. Forfeits are GIVEN base on the rules of wrestling. Bradley had a 103, therefore those points were EARNED. You even questioned if they were EVENLY matched. Werent they? Soms Updating your predictions as the season shakes out is easy, gut or no gut. Everyone involved picked this to be a couple points one way or the other at the point of the season when you made your final prediction. It was obvious to all who follow. Thats why the poll was even. It could have gone either way. I referred to your latest post you framed above as your convenient adaptability and evolving predictions as the season goes on. Not exactley rocket science at that point. All of us were pretty much on the same page about how tight it would be. Im glad your rebels came through for you. You failed to frame your cleveland vs bradley predictions.
  20. Biasd?. Is it Bradleys fault Frankllin doesent field a 3 pounder? Bradleys 3 pounder is the no. 1 ranked 3 in the state. He has gotten 6 nearly every time out. He has beaten Collierville and all contenders at 3. Who would Franklin have thrown in to beaat him? NO ONE. I think its unbiased and objective to say Bradley would have won at 3 regardless. So it wasnt GIVEN away. Bradlley won a state championship without a 103 several years ago. No one used it as an exuse for winning or losing a title. I know the Franklin wrestlers havent let it affect there fine performance and state title win. It should not be used as a reason the match was close. They should even be prouder for overcoming it as Bradley was a few years back. Every team has week weight classes. Sometimes a body is thrown in to fill a weight class. Its one of Franklins holes. Bradley has some holes where there is someone available to step on the mat.Should we have forfieted to satisfy your argument? There is not always a body available at 3. This is really an irrelevant point. READ WHAT THE THREAD AND MY ANALYSIS WAS ABOUT. SOMS GUT WHICH SAID FRANKLIN WOULD DOMINATE BRADLEY. If even if you take away the 2 forfiets(which is part of the game but lets do it to satisfy you)the matches are 12 to 14 and scores 63 for franklin 56 Bradley. Is that Dominatin? Ifs and buts or no 3s you field your best and Franklin did and Franklin as I said had the horses to win at the end. At 60 an 89 they have 2 studs who did what they are expected to do. And it got there team a state title. Again congratulations to Franklin
  21. First of all let me congratulate Franklin for a fantastic showing and a great win over Bradley. But lets set the record strait on Soms Gut. He said early on before the Cleveland Duals that this would be No contest. Words like DOMINATION, RECORD SETTING and UNBEATABLE and Bradley was a top 4 or 5 team at best. And his gut told him this was the year Cleveland would knock off the Bears. Well as we now know Bradley beat Cleveland once close and once convincingly. They upset the Unbeatable (according to SOMs GUT) Franklin team in a very close hard fought match at Cleveland Duals. Franklin won the second match up in a Very close hard fought state dual final. A correct prediction? Not Hardly. Franklin had the horses and character to pin 2 of the last 3 matches to come from behind to win by 1. They did it and deserve their state title. But in two matches the totals were: 14 wins to 14 wins. 68pts for Bradley 63pts for Franklin. 2 very good teams very EVENLY matched. A toss up pure and simple with Franklin coming through when it counted. Go back and read the early SOMS posts His gut said it was NO CONTEST. His GUT was incorrect then and now. Again, congratulations to the State Champion Franklin Rebels. You are a good team that beat a good team in the big one. It was very dramatic to see and a moment Ill never forget. My memories will have a touch of disappointment in losing such a close one. In a different way Franklin and there fans will never forget it either. Franklin wrestlers and fans have a moment now they will always enjoy forever and well they should.
  22. From reading the posts of others I see he's at it again. Id love to go to Vegas and bet opposite of everything he said. Id be rich just from coach t wrestling thread if they put it on the betting board. It should be humbleing or embarrising to be wrong that often but its like the person that sings along with the song on the radio and doesen't know or have a clue what the real lyrics are. They dont know when to be quiet. My husband told me he made a visit to the BC wrestling room the other nite. Probably thinks hes regained his expertice with one 30 minute visit to this years team who had many unknowns by the wrestling public this year. I know he was noticed by several BC wrestlers. Ill bet they were wishing to have a go with him after all the "credible" posts he's made about their team. They were careful not to show any outward feelings which was correct and appropiate behaivior. Did he think that welcome mat was for him? LOL. Honestly though I do hope he has ONE thing right this year. That is that Smyrna wrestling is on the way up and does what he expects next year. They have worked hard and coach G has been great for their program.
  23. Heffington was up by 3 with 38 seconds, got turned and pinned at end. Back and forth match till then.
