Is anyone getting a scholarship to play in college? I'm sure Ricco Ralston will, but where to? Or Noel Smith from Cheatham?
  2. Congrats to Jackson Southside- Sorry to the Bobcats- would have loved to see you play in M'boro. Keep your heads up, you have had a great year. Good luck to all of the seniors that will be moving on to bigger things. We've enjoyed the show.
  3. Hey Gerry- I am a student athlete and I got a 32- first time. So shut up- I know what average is and fortunately it is not acceptable in my family in any area not even behavior apparantly not true where you're from so maybe you should quit picking on student athletes. I wasn't involved with either team- just on outsiders perspective. Didn't know it was such a touchy subject for you, how old are you anyway?
  4. Whew! There is just way too much whining going on here so let me clear a couple of things up for you. First, wneely not only were you harassing the CC players but heckeling cheerleaders?!? That is pathetic! If you are so stupid that you think they made you move for your own safety then you better have your head checked, maybe that basketball to the face was harder than it looked and you have a brain injury.By the way, I think that ball should've been thrown a lot harder! And if you think CC fans were rough, wait till tonight against Sycamore. You'll see the sixth man in action! Probably with support from CC. Oh, and sorry to hear you only got a 27 and after 2 times? Good luck with that. Also, about CC being classless and trying to hurt one of your players, I believe it was your golden boy that took a swing at a CC player and got a technical, amazing that you forgot to mention that in all these posts. GC was elbowing, hand-checking and pushing all night unfortunately the ref that drove the GC bus to Clarksville was star-struck and wasn't able to make a call against them. Fouling is a stetegy in basketball, I know your used to soccer rules but they are different, maybe you should try reading them before you make an idiot of yourself talking about it since you're obviously not good enough to play. As for the remarks about Coach Jackson- I've known him for quite a while and he is an excellent coach and absolutely has control of his team. Giles County has a very good team- with or without Tyler Smith- who better get his attitude under control or he won't have to worry about which college he will be playing for because he can play for the Tenn State Penitentury while he's serving time for assault. Cheatham County also has a very good team and have come a long way in a very short time under the direction of Coach Jackson. We'll be watching for you next year! Waverly Central also has a good team- great show last night against Sycamore. We'll be watching you next year too. Sycamore is very good and could still be the downfall of Giles if they come to play hard tonight and the officials aren't star-struck. Good luck to you! Great showing by 10aa in tournament play! You have all made the district proud!
  5. Make that 3 out of 4 of the 9aa teams are eliminated with the win going to Waverly over Marshall. Good luck tonight to Cheatham with Giles. 10aa all the way!!!
  6. Good luck to all- Congrats to all of the Cheatham county teams for making it to the end in tournaments!
  7. There have been a lot of good things come from Harpeth- Josh Goodwin, Mathew Tant, Jason Tant and many others that I don't even know about. There have been good athletes from the other schools in the county also. As far as this game goes, for a game to go into OT, both teams wanted that win badly. This matchup it was Harpeth but who knowsabout next time- it's almost tourney time- maybe the two will meet again then. Good luck to both for the rest of the season!
