Actually it's not a waste of a good gym floor, they make the BB team "play" at the Elementary school.

How else would you do it? If you did it by season record , then some schools would make a weak schedule. To get a good seed @ the State Duals. This has been the way TSSAA has done it for the last 4 or 5 years. It is the only fair way.

Then if you think they are so below acceptable, why don't you "put on the stripes" and show us how it is done!

I think TSSAA has tried to help out somewhat, by adding the small schools Div. A/AA. This gives teams a chance that normally would not have one, to go to State Duals

That is still just 15, R1 & 2 get 3 R3 & 4 get 3 R5 get 1 R6 get 2 R7 & 8 get 3 R9 get 1 R10 get 2 ADD THEM UP YOU STILL GET 15

If every 2 regions send 3 teams that will be 15 teams (Example Reg. 1& Reg. 2 send 3, Reg. 3 & 4 send 3) with 10 Regions that is 15 teams, for a 16-team bracket where does the other team come from? Does anybody out there know?

You don’t hurt my feeling, If I got my feelings hurt easy I would not be officiating in this sport because, no matter how good you call there is always someone unhappy.

As an official, in our area I think our group does a great job overall. It seems that they’re a lot of good officials in the stands. Because they always seem to tell you how much better they saw it from the stands. But they are always afraid to pay their money to the State and get out there and help us out. PAY YOUR FEE, PUT ON THE STRIPES AND GET OUT THERE! AND THEN TELL US HOW EASY IT IS TO MAKE THAT CALL.

As an official I like the rule it gives a definite cut off. Both kids could have the same amount of time on the mat, or it could come down to secs. , Then you get in to this kid worked harder that that kid.

Mckinny, How did you know it was me? You were not even a sparkle in your Daddy's eye during my days at M'Town East. There were some great teams and some great wrestlers from the mid 70's up to the late 90's. Chuck Carter, Tim Dennison, Alan Patterson, Billy Murphy, Wes Camp, Just to name a few.

IN BasketBall (Oh No I said the BB word on a wrestling board) you get a free shot. In Hockey you lose a player. There are proably others I can't think of right now.
