the number of principals in the building is irrelevant to this matter. As long as the school has 8th grade in the SAME building as the high school then 8th graders are eligible to play. its that simple.

I never said Howard wasnt better than CSAS or the best team in the city my argument this whole time has been that CSAS is one of the top 5 teams in the city. like i have said before I hope to see at least 3 chattanooga teams in the state tournament, CSAS, Howard and whoever else. If CSAS was in the district with Howard I really think they could finish in the top 3. They have split with Howard lost to tyner by single digits and beat Brainerd. not bad for a single A team

The teams arent seeded but.... as far as the Rutherford COunty teams Lavergne finished 1st Oakland 2nd Siegel 3rd Rockvale 4th Mt. Juliet finished 1st in their area Walter J Baird 2nd I think Kenwood finished 1st in their area and Dickson 2nd

Actually I wasnt being biased I didnt refute your argument I just asked who you would replace CSAS with in the top 5. But I am going to do like you and make an excuse: Yes CSAS lost to Hixson they also had two players, out one being their leading scorer.

Im not saying they are good or bad but I know they also play in a weak region so they probabnly wont be tested until they get to the state tournament

officials have hursidiction over the game floor until they actually exit the floor. Like I said last night one of the officials of the game I coached stood at halfcourt and waited for both team to leave the playing floor because one of my kids and a kid from the other team were jawing the official was close to giving them both technicals

from my understanding of the rule and what you are saying this was the right call. I think I was told a couple of years ago by a ref that you could actually win a game by 1 point get a technical and the other team make both free throws and beat you even though the clock has all zero's. As a matter of fact I had a ref almost T up one of my kids after the game was over

I was just picking with you in my last post. I have nothing against Howard. As a CSAS im not worried about Howard, Tyner, Red Bank, ooltewah or MCCallie because they have absolutely no sayso in whether or not CSAS makes it back to Murfreesboro. I hope all these teams make noise in their respective divisions. Just think if if two or 3 chattanooga teams win the state in their classes then we can shut Memphis up for at least a year

CSAS beat Howard and its because Howard hasnt touched a basketball in a long time so they are rusty. Then your excuse for howard losing to maplewood is because howard let them win. *newsflash* Genius Good teams in AA dont let bad single A beat them. Oh yeah that bad single A beat a team that dominated you. I also find it funny that you say Austin East would have won the best of preps. I guess you mean that same austin east team that lost to brainerd who lost to CSAS. like I said I dont know what your beef with CSAS is but let go. Howard, CSAS, McCallie, Tyner, and Red Bank are all good teams just give credit where it is due and stop making excuses every time Howard loses. Hopefully in March all of these teams will be in representing for Chattanooga in their respective state tournaments
